Couple of years ago these people took care of my pit when no one else was willing to. My pit “Baby” is large, black, hates other animals, scary looking, but so loving to humans. My drive from Honolulu was worth it. I appreciated their help. Sorry so late but big mahalo to koolau bed and biscuit 👍

I have tried for 3 days to see if they will even take my puppy, they have not even replied, with either voicemail or Email. I would never bother with them again, I consider it EXTREMELY RUDE to not even let me know whether they would take him or not. would never revcomend them to anyone

Mahalo Ko'olau Bed & Biscuit!!! Our Roxie was perfectly fine there. Will definitely have her stay whenever we need to go out of town.

Our fur babies settled in very quick and the staff was very accommodating.
Much better than the last place they stayed at.

Absolutely disgusting staff. Rude. Would NOT ALLOW ME TO SEE INSIDE THE FACILITY. I knocked on door and saw through the window a woman sitting down looking at her phone. Dogs barking but couldn't see kennels. Woman came to door with a sneer on her face. Very very unfriendly and rude. I told her I'd drive 30 minutes to see the facility. She claimed because of covid (it was Sept. 16, 2022) that tours were not allowed. Where's covid? This is suspect. I said, "You mean I leave my pet here but can't tour the facility before I make a reservation?" NO. NO. COVID! As an owner of a veterinary hospital facility in Florida, I KNOW HOW BOARDING FACILITIES OPERATE. What was she hiding? What was she afraid for me to see? AND there is NOT A LARGE PLAYGROUND. The small grassy area needed mowing, the one beat up wooden climbing bridge had weeds growing around it. There were NO OUTDOOR RUNS EITHER. I've boarded at many facilities during my travels and NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. I guess if one is desperate they'd go anywhere. But false advertising is what this VERY UNFRIENDLY UNKEMPT PLACE IS ALL ABOUT. And I regret not taking photos!!!!! I was so angry I just wanted to get away from there.

We’ve had to board our pet here twice and haven’t had any issues. The girls staffed there have been very good to our pet. This place has large runs for larger dogs, good sized medium “runs” for med. sized dogs. And small(yet still roomie areas) for smaller breeds. If you have multiple pets and prefer they share a run, they will do that for you. There was a large fenced in yard for outdoor time(they get lots of outdoor and play time).

We were given a proper tour prior to deciding to board here. We haven’t met the owner but she lives next door to the facility and has pets herself. They do check to be sure pets staying are up to date on vaccinations including bordetella, which is comforting.

This is in the beautiful Ahuimanu/ koaloa mtn area inside of a neighborhood on the windward side of Oahu.

We have taken our dog for walks since and a girl driving by stopped and said our dog’s name...come to find out she was one of the girls working here and remembered & loved our pet. We will very likely use this place every time we need to.

I have so many words to describe this facility and their family friendly staff but have only so much room in this message. So: AMAZING! So glad I found Ko’olau Bed & Biscuit.

Just boarded our year old ridgeback here and couldn't be happier! They did daily updates and pictures! Made our vacation more enjoyable because we weren't worried about the dog!!
