Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool is an outstanding early learning center that truly cares about the development and well-being of its students. The teachers are nurturing, patient, and highly skilled in creating a fun and engaging learning environment. They take the time to understand my child’s unique needs, ensuring he feels supported and encouraged to grow academically and socially.

The administration staff is equally impressive—always friendly, responsive, flexible, and dedicated to making the preschool experience smooth and enjoyable for both children and parents. Communication is excellent, with regular updates on activities, progress, and any important information.

The curriculum is well-balanced, incorporating play-based learning with structured educational activities that prepare children for the next stages of their academic journey. The facilities are clean, safe, and designed to foster creativity and exploration.

I highly recommend Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool to any parent looking for a warm, professional, and enriching environment for their child. It’s truly a place where children thrive!

We absolutely love Little Sunshine’s Playhouse in Lake St. Louis! As first-time parents, we were nervous about finding the right place for our now 2-year-old, but the staff has been incredibly supportive and welcoming. They made the transition so smooth for us and our little one.

The teachers are warm, attentive, and really care about the children. Our son learns so much so quickly—it’s truly astonishing and indicative of their curriculum. He has made some best friends, and we’ve also built great friendships with other parents, which has been such an unexpected blessing.

We’re so happy with our experience that our second child, who is on the way, will also be attending here. The communication, nurturing environment, and quality of care make this the perfect place for our family. We can’t recommend Little Sunshine’s Playhouse enough. Thank you for everything you do!

We could not be happier with Little Sunshine’s! From day one, dropping off our baby for her first days at daycare, we have never had to worry about her being taken care of. She LOVES her teachers Jamie and Sydney (and the others that pop in!) and smiles every single day at drop off. The day to day updates and adorable pictures we get from them are a testament to how much they love what they do there. There is a strong sense of inclusion and love as soon as you enter the building. The infant rooms are clean and cozy! The office staff are wonderful to deal with and answer all of our questions with kindness. We love LSP!

I’ve been through many childcare options, including in-home care, and always had that mom gut feeling that something wasn’t right—I spent my days constantly worrying. When the Lake St. Louis school was built, we decided to switch because it fit into our morning routine. Looking back, I wish we had done it sooner.

From day one, I’ve never had to worry. The level of care, stability, and learning my daughter receives is beyond impressive. There’s no screen time, and the teacher retention speaks volumes—unlike other places where staff turnover is constant, the consistency here makes a huge difference.

Ms. Janice, Ms. Sarah, Ms. Michelle, and Ms. Amy are just a few of the wonderful teachers who have made my daughter love school. I no longer carry mom guilt or worry, and for that, I’m truly grateful. I can’t recommend this place enough!

My mind rests easy when I drop my son off each day. He has been going since he was 6 months and right away the teachers and administrators became a second family. The curriculum, cuisine and passion are all top notch. I know my son is getting the education he deserves be each one of these passionate educators and balanced healthy meals daily by their exceptional chef! I absolutely love each member I have had the pleasure of meeting. Top choice in early education by far!!

We’ve had a wonderful experience at Little Sunshine's over the past 15 months! My son has made so much progress, and I truly appreciate the engaging curriculum that blends fun activities with learning.

A special shoutout to Miss Michelle B.—she has been amazing! She helped my son with potty training, something we struggled with at home, and we are so grateful for her patience and support. Miss Kylie and Miss Danielle are also among my son’s favorites, and their care and enthusiasm make such a difference. The leadership team(Jen and Sarahlinda) is fantastic—always energetic, supportive, and approachable.

I like the LuvNotes app. It keeps me updated throughout the day with details about my son’s eating and napping schedule, along with 3-5 pictures daily, which really puts my mind at ease. The ability to communicate with teachers and leadership through the app or via phone is also a great feature. Additionally, the live TV setup that allows parents to check in on their kids was incredibly helpful, especially during the initial transition period.

The daycare itself is also great—all the classrooms are well-lit, clean, and thoughtfully organized, creating a safe and welcoming environment for the kids.

My second son is 10 months old and I know exactly which daycare he would be going next 🙂 ! Little sunshine's has been such a positive and nurturing place for him, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a caring, engaging, and well-organized daycare.

My daughter has been at LSP LSL since she was 14 weeks old and all of her teachers have shown true interest and love towards her at every age and learning milestone. Ms. Sydney and Jamie helped her learn the basics of rolling, sitting up, crawling, and eating. Ms. Jenna continues to help her verbal and non verbal speech grow, the older she gets. It's a breath of fresh air each morning trusting we are dropping her off in a good place! Special plus - the app they use lets you see updates throughout the day (diaper changes, eating, and my favorite, pictures!!).

Little Sunshine’s Playhouse is an amazing daycare! It was nerve wracking thinking about sending our child to daycare but after touring LSP I knew he would be in good hands! The teachers, Sydney and Jamie, go above and beyond with all of the different unique and creative activities. They do a great job of keeping us updated throughout the entire day of his schedule The staff at the entrance are so kind and friendly! They greet everyone by name and make it a warm and welcoming place to care for your child. I would recommend LSP over and over again!
