Hi Everyone
We have been taking our sweet little Reba to Love Dogs Camp for about 3 months now. We are so impressed with the staff and all the surrounding grounds. Brett especially is so sweet and so caring with Reba. She loves to come to "Camp"!!!!!! This has been a wonderful experience for Reba. We feel very comfortable leaving her there for the day and we have also left her for an over night 3 day stay. She sleeps on our bed and Brett said that she could sleep with him if she wanted to. So she felt right at home. We tell everyone where she goes to "school" Thank you everyone at Love Dogs Camp for all the love and kindness you bestow on all the dogs.

Lola joined our family through a temporary foster arrangement and instantly bonded with me, never leaving my side. I walked her, fed her, and spent time with her. When her original owner realized she couldn't provide Lola with the needed attention and surroundings for her physical and mental health, she made the selfless decision to give Lola to me.

I love Lola deeply. When she first arrived, she was anxious and fearful of other adults, staying close to me while being skittish around my husband and son. Lola didn't know how to interact with other dogs and was even afraid of toys like frisbees, squeaky toys, and stuffed animals. She didn't know how to play.

I learned about Love Dogs Camp through a friend. After seeing the impressive progress my friend’s dog was making, I wanted Lola to have the same positive experience. I felt confident in trusting Love Dogs Camp and Carolyn with Lola.

Since joining Love Dogs Camp, Lola has truly blossomed. She is now comfortable with other adults, often approaching them to say hello. She plays with other dogs and eagerly seeks out playtime. The daycare program's focus on socialization has allowed Lola to come out of her shell and I am thrilled with her transformation into a happier and more well balanced individual. I greatly appreciate how Carolyn and her team check in on Lola's progress at home and provide updates on her behavior at daycare. It feels just like picking up my child from daycare. Love Dogs Camp is very welcoming, supportive, and fun for Lola.

Our fur baby Obi-Wan has been going to Love Dogs Camp for daycare for the past 2.5 years and he loves it there! He wears an activity tracker and gets much more activity there than at other doggie daycare places that we tried. He comes home happy and tired, ready for a long nap!

This routine was very helpful during the stressful postpartum period when I was unable to take him on our daily walks. Getting used to having a human baby in the house was challenging for all of us, but going to camp twice a week really helped him. It gave him a chance to get out of the house and go to somewhere familiar and comfortable, get some good exercise and loving attention from the staff. He always came home more relaxed and better able to handle the changing circumstances. We didn’t have any behavioral issues with him after the baby came home and I know it is because of Love Dogs Camp! I recommend that all parents-to-be get their dogs into a good daycare routine before bringing a new baby home. And having the peace of mind that our dog had somewhere safe and comfortable to go while we were in the hospital was priceless. My husband was able to stay with me the entire 4 days we were in the hospital, and we came home to a relaxed and happy dog who was eager to meet his little brother!

They come home tired and happy everyday they go and sometimes don’t even want to leave can you believe it! I have 2 young very active dogs and the time they have spent at love dogs camp has helped tremendously with not just their physical enrichment but mental as well they are very well socialized and get along great with new dogs! I would recommend this facility as Carolyn cares so deeply for dogs and all of her staff share that same love for these wonderful doggies!!! Thank you love dogs camp!

Hoshi has been a regular at Loves Dog Camp doggy daycare for over a year. He needed more exercise, socialization, and playtime with other dogs than we could provide at home. Hoshi is always thrilled to go.

Hoshi has made many friends and loves playing with other dogs. He has a special bond with the team at Love Dogs Camp. He is thrilled Carolyn comes to greet him. It's heartwarming to see.

Love, Fun, and Kindness best describe Love Dogs Camp. They genuinely care about the wellbeing of the dogs and their families. Love Dogs Camp has exceeded all of our expectations.

Carolyn and her staff are extended family to us. They have done so much to help raise and train our dog to be a sociable and loyal companion. She loves playing with all sizes of friends and we get thorough reports from the staff when we pick her up. Whether you’re new puppy parents like us or seasoned dog owners, this place will always communicate and strive to provide a fun and safe environment for your dog(s).

Home Away From Home...

Love Dogs Camp has made a big difference with our dog, Pugsley, since we moved to the area 6 years ago.

He was rescued from the streets of San Jose at the age of 1. Before moving to Nipomo, we researched and visited many places offering daycare and boarding, but Carolyn at Love Dogs Camp gave us the most confidence.

It offers Pugsley a great environment with no kennels, freedom to roam on 5 acres and the ability to socialize with both big and small dogs.

Carolyn has a wonderful trainer - Brett - who's very knowledgeable about dog behavior and nutrition and helped Pugsley become less fearful of other dogs. Supervision is a priority and he is never left alone.

Carolyn does a great job vetting new dogs and their owners to ensure compatibility with her existing clientele. She also provides healthy home cooked meals for the dogs at least once a day.

Whether it's for just a day or a couple of weeks for vacation, we have no concern bringing Pugsley to Love Dogs Camp. It's his home away from home.

Arlo, a two-year-old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix, was my granddaughter's dog. When she moved away, Arlo suffered from extreme anxiety. He wouldn't enter the house or walk on a leash. I searched for dog care services nearby, but no one was willing to take him. Some even suggested putting him down, which I couldn't fathom.

Fortunately, I found Love Dogs Camp during my internet search. Carolyn met with me to understand Arlo's situation, and we decided to enroll him in their Board and Train program for accelerated training and socialization.

After three weeks, Arlo was transformed. He developed a close bond with Brett, the dog trainer. Arlo started listening and following directions, stopped jumping, and for the first time, socialized with other dogs. He became calm, happy, and even appeared to be smiling. Love Dogs Camp helped Arlo build confidence and recover from his anxiety.

Love Dogs Camp is the best place for any dog. Brett takes the time to understand each dog and works patiently with them, no matter what. The Board and Train program gave Arlo the comprehensive care and training he needed, every day.
