I never post reviews, but I have to say, I called twice in 3 weeks to ask questions about a place for a family member. I spoke to the same man both times. Both times he raised his voice at me. Today I called to ask a question, and he he was just below yelling at me. When I explained he misheard my question. He replied "No I did not. I heard exactly what you said!!" When I repeated my question, he did not apologize and was still very rude to me. If this had happened only the first time I called, I wouldn't be writing this, but he didn't remember me from three weeks ago and that tells me he is rude and not an active listener. It is very emotional and difficult when you are looking for help for a dear loved one. This person has no compassion and should not be working in this field.

This place is under-trained, understaffed, and abusive to the people they keep locked up here. Whole facility needs to be updated, staff needs to be retrained or replaced, and food needs to be something edible. They caused my wife even more trauma with no help at all. Do not take people here, take them to a county or place that actually cares. They will only get mistreated if you put them here.

Gave my high functioning Autistic sister the Johnson and Johnson shot in March. They literally have no record of it. Not the health department either. So they gave her a shot and didn’t even record it but I got the paper with the side effects when I picked her up, but no vaccine card. She needed it finally but they don’t have any record of it! What the heck is going on in here. State Violation calling ombudsman Monday.

This place is the worst garbage I have ever seen. They say they have 24 hour service. We had to bring some one to the crisis center at 4am. And the lady was instantly annoyed that we where making her do her job at 4am. The person we brought was unresponsive to questions and is very confused and doesn't keep up with conversations. She aggressively starts asking him. And when I went to tell her he won't answer, in the rudest way possible she snapped at me and said don't answer for him. And then she asked us why did you bring him in at 4am and every time we tried to answer she would inturupt and agressibly ask why bring him in at 4am?! And then promptly made me and the person that drove us wait outside. And the whole time while this was happening a 2nd woman was at her desk and she was talking loudly on the phone about other mental health patients and mentioning suicide and people hurting themselves and then laughing on the phone after saying some of these things as well it was extremely rude and was making the person we took to get care very uncomfortable. After we came back in the lady handling his case processes to ask us a ton of questions stating oh he won't answer any thing. She seemed nicer but still garbage. We went there to make it so he could chill out and talk to some one who would help. And she with out saying a single word to us hospitalized him. And at the time I thought ok maybe he really needs it. So they call an ambulance to take him to the hospital, again also very rude people, we simply asked where exactly do we go to meet him and we where once again met with annoyance for them to do their job. And the room they had us waiting in before the ambulance showed up was disgusting. Bugs every where. Holes in the walls, Exposed power outlets and a light that's so bright how could any one relax. Never go to this place, unless you want to be treated as less than human and if you want to be so infuriated about an already stressful time because people don't have a single ounce of caring in a profession where they should then by all mean go. Other wise do not go here.
(Last note as well. We have been trying to find out where the hospitalized person was being held for the last 2 days legit nothing else but where have you taken him is he even in merced any more. And they refused to tell us saying he's an adult. He may be an adult but he has the mentality of a 5 year-old and can't make his own decisions or answer simple questions.)

Despite the bad reviews and bad food the psychiatrist is great. She can be mean but she actually knows what she's doing. She won't drug you just because she wants things to be easier for her or fears losing her license. If you need counseling she'll refer you to counseling, if you do need meds, she'll give them to you.

If anybody knows anything about Mary greens please let me know .because that is the place that my daughter is at right now she's in the state of mind that she is incapable of making decisions for her self and for these people to say that she is 19 years old and she's an adult she can make decisions for herself I'm sorry but if you choose to go to a mental health then obviously you are not incapable of making decisions for yourself when I call today on May 7th 2018 at 9 a.m. I had asked them if my daughter was there they told me that they cannot tell me anything because she has not signed a release form all I'm asking if she is there so that I know that she is okay and I don't have to worry about her being on the streets .because previous to that I had spoke to a police officer and the police officer said that because she is 19 years old if she chooses to leave that there is nothing we can do about it why would you tell a person that is going through really bad suicidal depression something like that they will take full advantage of it and nobody will know what is going on with them so my suggestion is if you want to know anything about your family and if they're okay this will not be the place for them to go.
