Not only did the get our pup in quickly when other vets around were not taking new patients, they quickly diagnosed the problem and got to work making her better. They were so reasonably priced that I was shocked when I saw how low the bill was compared to estimates online. They were kind, caring, and openly communicated.

Just over a year ago I took my 4 yr old pup in for some choking like coughing and they examined my baby and said nothing wrong only to experience her seizure in and out for 10 hours and suddenly pass violently. They charged me almost $300 for her visit bloodwork and the "works" all without even touching my baby girl! Meaning I helped them draw blood and he took her temp and I weighed her. That's all the interaction was. I DO NOT AGREE WITH THE FEMALE VET THAT STOOD RIGHT NEXT TO ME WHILE I WAS UP THERE WANTED TO TALK TO THE VET. ALL THE WHILE SHE ACTED LIKE A CUSTOMER AND NOT THE VET. all she cares about is her truck! Not the animals!

If you are concerned that your baby is sick and although their lungs "sound clear" and show them videos of their coughing and lethargic behavior and the things you've tried they're going to say it's allergies. I adopted sibling kittens a little over a month ago and have done all the things I thought I should try before taking the time off work, scheduling the appt, driving the 40 minutes, patiently waiting my turn to be told it's allergies and the best they could do was a prednisone shot and for me to call back Monday to tell them if it helped or not. And if it helped, to bring in the sister. Why not offer bloodwork? Cats are the experts at hiding their illness and why would I be going through all this trouble if I thought it was allergies. Having 3 other babies and years experience of having cats, I know when something's not right. My 1st red flag should have been the way the old man grabbed him out of the carrier and was handing him from the get go. I think either he should retire or go back to school. I totally gave them grace and patience throughout the wait. I understand they were swamped. Not a big deal at all. But it all was totally unacceptable the mistreatment and care we received. I highly recommend no one take their baby there. I am not one to leave reviews or easily get infuriated but when it comes to things like this, they're not morally operating like a vet clinic should be. Retire, rehire or shut down. Fyi: It's been 3 days since our visit and the shot made no difference. It was a traumatic experience for my boy and myself to have to watch all the while pleading with the man something's not ok with him. I feel like the entire time the old man was trying to argue with me and convince me it's just allergies to get me out and get on with the next one because of how busy they were. Will be looking into getting him in somewhere else but will absolutely not consider this place ever again.

Extremely happy with the level of care provided by this clinic. I had to take my dog in for ear surgery and was a little nervous taking him to new place since my usual vet couldn’t do it, but it was so comforting to see how compassionate and caring the staff is. I would definitely recommend them. Every interaction I’ve had with them has been wonderful, whether over the phone or in person. Just for bonus points, they have super reasonable prices!

I do not recommend this place. We just moved to the area and tried this place. They were nice on the phone but, when I got there it was another story. I asked if they had a muzzle or if I needed to bring one when i was setting the appointment up on the phone. She said oh don't worry we have them. When I got there, the young receptionist (heavyset girl) was EXTREMELY rude. She handed me a muzzle that was covered in hair and when I asked her If she could wipe it off she got snippy with me and told me to bring my own next time. The Dr leaves more to be desired as well. She makes inaccurate decisions about dogs that she just met. The place is old and stuffy and small. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK

Today was one of the most emotional and hardest days ever! My what I thought was a 5 month old puppy today woke up with a chocking noise and labor breathing. I immediately brought him in and was told he was fine and also that he was actually 3 months old from the same vet who told me a month ago he was 4 months old at that time. He assumed he had something in his throat and it was gone. Took my puppy home and not even an hour later the labor breathing was worse and his body was flinching as he slept. I took a video to show the vet and went back. Was told by the vet that was normal and that nothing was wrong. He informed me he had a slight temperature but besides that was fine and nothing needed to be done. So once again I go home. Another hour goes by and my puppy won’t eat won’t come to me labor breathing. I take him to Saline county vet where they did full blood work and chest X-ray mind you something the other vet wouldn’t do even though I agreed and had no issue paying. Comes to find out he has a severe respiratory infection and the vet even stated it was nothing like she has seen before in a dog his age. Now less then 12 hours since I first noticed symptoms and took him to vet #1 my puppy had to be taken to Blue Springs to stay over night at the emergency hospital. If I would have just trusted the vet from Marshall vet clinic my puppy would not have made it tell through the night. I was told clear symptoms that something was wrong was normal. I was told even though I expressed that wasn’t his normal at all that it was normal for most dogs so he was fine. I was told x-rays were expensive and a waste since he was fine. I will never bring my dogs to this vet again. My parents also feel this same after the same vet upset their cat so much that she has to be sedated now to even get checked out. I will say this wasn’t doctor Whaler but the male vet who is now there majority of the time. And since that’s what I will get in an emergency we won’t be going back.

I love this place for my pets. I recommend this vet to all of my friends. The vet is good. The staff is good and the prices are definitely more affordable than most places around here. I really trust these people with all of my pets needs.
