The staff at the Merced CBOC are great ! They care about their patients and work hard to ensure the care provided is good. They do really good in navigating the VA health care system and explaining the process. Thank you!

I don't know what people expect from the staff. I've been going there for years and I have not seen the problems that people are complaining about. People need to relax and give the employees credit for what they are doing and realize that there other patients patients being seen. Sometimes it takes them a little longer to finsh with some patients than others. I prefer that they take their time to make sure each person gets the proper care. So put away your stop watch and relax

Ive been going here since moving from Fresno in 2011. The staff is very friendly and understand that stress is normal especially with us Veterans. They try to answer all of our questions and are very understanding. I only had one issue with a primary care doctor in which I was offended by his comments, so I informed them and eventually I was given another provider. Great service and my new provider is great. I hope that someday they will expand this clinic. For the size of Merced County , this could be better if it were a regional facility that operated 24hrs, instead of either driving all the way to Fresno or north to Palo Alto. All in all, great facility, great staff and great respect.

*only came here because they made me an appointment and was told it was best to show up.
Was given wrong information about labs over the phone, and when I walked in and asked the front desk… she had a disgusting attitude. Shooshed me away like a dog😂🫡🇺🇸 I smiled and thanked my therapist mentally!
Because of this… I gladly pay my deductibles with my private medical care and in return im treated like a human🙏🏼

The blonde lady at the front desk is rude and seems like she hates her job. Our veterans deserve better than that. The nurse Tarah is amazing and always in great spirits, makes us feel comfortable, and generally takes good care of all her patients, which is why I gave 3 stars instead of 1.

For a smaller VA Clinic I was expecting prompt, courteous, and better service. Not at all what I got! If you need medical treatment, I would take time to go to the Fresno or the Atwater VA Clinic. I will never go here again. I guess serving and defending one's country, calls for mistreatment for medical care.

The worst service I have ever had. These ladies are lazy and rude. They are always on the phone and they give you attitude when you ask a question. I will never go here again. I feel sorry for all the Veterans that have to go here to get medical attention and put up with the rude and lazy people that work here.

I am new to the VA clinic in Merced. My experiance with them has been beyond the call of duty. They just furnished me with new hearing aids. I had a pair that cost me 4,400 dollars that barely improved my hearing. The ones furnished by the VA are incredible! Almost like natural hearing. The physician that attends me listened and seemed very concerned and helpful. I have no complaints whatsoever.
