We took our daughter to see the doctor at the Love County Mercy Clinic for a sick visit recently. She seemed to be having trouble with allergies and her ears were bothering her.

We told the doctor up front that we didn't have insurance, and if she needed lab work we wanted her to give an order for it and we would go to LabCorp. We were mainly concerned about our daughter's ears, she has a history of eat infections.

The doctor took our daughter to the room alone, because of patient confidentiality we weren't allowed to go with her eventhough she was a minor. They said that was standard protocol.

Eventhough we were told they would let us go to a lab elsewhere, they ended up doing labwork there without our consent. They did a flu test, covid test, rsv panel, and a pregnancy test all without consent. We are now being charged over $900 for these test. We were told this was standard protocol, and that they didn't need to give us an order to have labwork done elsewhere eventhough we requested it prior to her having anything done at the clinic. Had we been able to go to LabCorp as we requested, we would have been able to get all the tests done for under $250.

We have tried to negotiate with Mercy's customer service multiple times. They won't talk to us about it at the Love County clinic or Ardmore hospital, we have to call a number where we have been treated rudely and hung up on. When we ask the name of who we're talking to so we can keep record, we have been told they don't have to tell us their name, or it doesn't matter.

There are some good doctor's here, but there are some terrible ones. They will take advantage of you given the opportunity, and their overall customer service is poor.

There was no reason for them to perform a pregnancy test on our minor daughter, or to do the bloodwork when we wanted them to give us the order so we could go to a lab where it was more affordable.

I do not trust Mercy, and I think their standard protocols and treatment of minors are ridiculous.

This review is for Dr paslay. I had a follow up appointment regarding my anxiety. I also had high blood pressure 2 visits in a row. In which he wanted to prescribe bp medication and to schedule blood work. I requested a referral to see a psychiatrist to treat my anxiety. They moment I asked for the referral to another doc over my anxiety his attitude changed. He literally walked out of the room without prescribing me the blood pressure medication or ordering blood work to diagnose my high blood pressure. He did not tell me if or where he was giving me a referral to see a psychiatrist. Dr Paslay was the worse doctor I have seen in 40 years. He spent a total of 6 minutes in two visits to treat my health. Do not use this doc if you have any other options.

My son had a lacerated finger tip. In, and out quickly with a glue together and antibiotic script. Wonderful NurSe and a really great lady PA,Andy, on duty. Very competent and helpful and super friendly too.

So as a transgender individual I have asked time and time again for staff to not deadname me. The Dr even put my preferred name on my file so that staff would know not to address me in this manner. Regardless of this, the receptionists of this facility refuse to address me properly and I've been going here for over 1 year. I found a new physician and won't be coming back. Don't get me wrong, the Dr and nurses are kind and considerate but their staff is NOT. If you are a trans individual I do not recommend.

Called about the cost of a rapid covid test for travel. They gave me a great price so I scheduled one. Even received an "estimate" of cost for my scheduled service from clinic. It was spot on to quote given over phone. I go for test, sit in room for an hour, nurse comes in gives me speech about NO SURPRISE BILLING. I get finished go to pay hit with an additional $50 bill some excuse about lab work. I pay and think well thats that. Go on vacation and come back to another SURPRISE BILL bill from hospital.
Im sure everyone is tired of being lied to by hospitals. Big disappointment in my local clinic.

This hospital is the absolute WORST and I absolutely would rather die than be treated here. The nurses and Drs are incompetent. I went to the er because I had bone poking through the skin on my knee and was told that I bumped it really hard and didn't realize it and that it was only a cut. I was told to put antibiotic ointment on A BROKEN LEG!!! Screw this place.

Wouldn't go there if I was on deaths doorstep! They don't care about there patients just the money they get. It's always empty because no one wants to go there! Would not recommend on my life!

If you are a trucker. This is a great place. They guided me in and have a parking place right across the street. I broke my arm. They took good care of me. Was in and out quick. And in network for my insurance. Thank you all for caring!!!
