Charles at breaking bad obedience was wonderful from the start. He isn’t after your money he just genuinely wants every dog and their owner to succeed. He is an excellent dog trainer and human trainer alike, he was there to answer my every question every step of the way.

He instilled confidence in me and my dog beaux to train anywhere and everywhere. At the beach, at the store, at the park, on our walks……you name it.

Beaux was taught basic obedience and earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen and STAR puppy awards at the conclusion of Charles training program.

We get so many compliments out in public about how well trained my dog is, I owe a special thanks to Charles at breaking bad obedience for that!

Update!
After an awesome experience we had with Charles, we sent our other pup over 3 months later as he had reactivity issues. As expected, Charles worked his magic and helped us become better handlers and understand his behaviors. He also reached out to check in on our progress and gave us advice in areas we were struggling with. After listening to his instructions and putting them into action, us and our pup totally improved! Amazing. Enjoyed every lesson, highly recommended!

The best!!

I was searching for a trainer to help me be a better handler and gain a better understanding of my dogs behaviors. I found Charles through a post in a GSD group. I compared all the listed trainers, but Charles definitely stood out with his work on Instagram. He specializes in large working breeds, but trains all breeds! He was prompt with his replies and answered all my questions and concerns. We signed up for the 3 week board and train program, which included a one hour lesson at the end of each week to learn how to work with your dog. He’s kind and is very caring of my pup 🙂 I was blown away by the amazing progress my GSD pup made and the awesome relationship he had developed with Charles. It was a rad experience and I’m forever grateful for his work! Highly recommended!

Right off the bat Charles could tell that our dog was a sensitive boi who just needed to build his confidence. Through our course of lessons Pilot was introduced to all of Charles’s pack, and by our last lesson Pilot was calmly hanging around with dogs that would have formerly made him anxious and aggressive. Complete transformation of our pit bull Rocket. I can’t say enough about how well our Rocket boy did with his training at Breaking Bad. Charles is a true professional and an expert in his craft. He was available through out the 3 week training to keep us up to date on Rocket’s training and he’s continued to be engaged with us to reinforce the training. We couldn’t be happier! Charles is wonderful with dogs as I can see how his dogs respect him as well do mine. You can see how much passion he has for all dogs. Charles answers all my questions and concerns and explains them thoroughly so that I understand why its important to do certain techniques even though it's small and subtle. My dog is very reactive and has shown a significant amount of improvement since training with Charles. I can tell that my dog craves training and mental stimulation and he's doing amazing so far. We contacted Charles Austin because we needed help with rehabilitating our 15 month old, Cane Corso. Charles is patient, firm, consistent, and knowledgeable in training large breeds, specifically Cane Corso.

His 1:1 coaching sessions were very helpful. Our pup left each session mentally stimulated and he provided us with tasks to help us with reinforcing all the skills learned in each session. With consistent training and tailored training to our needs, I’m happy to say our Cane Corso is now more manageable, walkable, obedient, and ready to train.
