We have had a great experience with Mirror Image K9 so far- our new puppy attended the puppy classes with Jillian and while she learned a lot, we learned even more about being her parents! We just completed our first one on one training session with Jillian to continue building on what we learned in puppy classes and we are excited for Charlie to have her first Day Camp visit after the holidays! We have no doubt this is the right team to help us train a well rounded dog and to help us be the best family we can be for Charlie!

There simply isnt enough praise that I could possible provide to express how thankful we are for Mirror Image K9. We got a new puppy and were looking for puppy classes and several friends recommended MIK9. From the very first inquiry call, I knew we found our pack. We started with training the week of Thanksgiving 2024 and have been training / in Day Camp weekly ever since. Our puppy Maverick is now 6 months old and still learning SO much every day working with the MIK9 staff. Fundamentals are pivotal for our next decade plus with him and a8 am forever grateful we started training as early as we did. There isn't a single staff member who isn't happy to be there, knowledgeable and helpful. We couldn't be more thankful to the friends who recommended them and the staff we have come to know in our time working with them ❤️

Mirror Image K9 has been hands down the best discovery for our dog/family. We adopted our dog through the Best Chance program and felt so supported during the whole process of fostering and adopting. We then chose to continue learning with the collar connect program with Brandon. Collar connect is the best decision we made. Our ability to communicate and relationship with our dog has increased and improved ten fold. We have used Brandon for boarding since, and have been to large group classes, day camp, and pack walks. We live 45 minutes from MIK9 yet would never consider going anywhere else! Our dog is sooooo excited to see the trainers every time and we have a blast learning alongside him.

Including photos of two (of many!) essential skills our Thumper has learned with MIK9:
1. The ability to chill with a house full of dinner guests despite being an energetic and people-loving pup
2. Waiting until given a release command despite a toy and treat sitting right in front of him as a previously resource guarding dog

Working with Millie at Mirror Image K9 has been absolutely transformative for our dog! The difference in his behavior is night and day -- and what's most impressive is how quickly we saw results. Millie has an incredible understanding of dog psychology and behavior. She knew exactly how to address our specific challenges with effective, practical solutions. Her training approach is both professional and compassionate. I'm amazed by how promptly she helped us turn things around.

While we're still on our training journey, the progress we've seen already has been incredible. We happily make the hour-long drive each way for our sessions because the results are so worth it! If you're dealing with any dog behavioral issues, I can't recommend these guys enough!

I reached out to Mirror Image K9 after my 1 year old dog became reactive towards certain things and eventually started showing aggression towards me out of (what felt like) nowhere. We no longer trusted each other and I was worried I may never have a good bond with my dog again. I had 2 video consults with Millie and she knew right off the bat the reason for my dog’s behavior. She explained to me exactly what my dog was thinking and came up with a training plan for us to work on at home. When speaking with her I never felt judged and was never just given a list of things I was doing “wrong”, but instead, she gave me things that I needed to try, work on, or be more persistent about. A month later, we had our first in person session today, and after only an hour of working with her, I can already see SO MUCH progress. She reassured me that my dog is still just a puppy with his whole life ahead of him to learn and grow and we have PLENTY of time to work on our bond that CAN be fixed with time and effort. In just the few hours that we have been home from our session, my dog is acting like his normal loving self and listening beautifully. I look forward to many more sessions with Millie and will forever be grateful for what she has taught us so far!!

Can’t say enough good things about Mirror Image K9! Seriously, thanks to them, we totally get our dogs better now and can give them the support they need. Their whole approach is all about building a real bond with your dog, and it’s been a game-changer for us. Our pups LOVE going to day camp and have learned so much. So thankfully that I found Mirror Image K9! I was truly at my end with my dogs aggression and I did not know what else to do. Jillian has been a fantastic trainer and has taught me how to set boundaries and communicate better with my dog. I feel much more confident in handing my dog!
