Having an injured dog isn't an enjoyable experience but taking them to Nexus most certainly is!

My Bully Prudence started limping this past spring and we found ourselves at both the urgent care vet and our primary vet. After some imaging, meds, and two weeks of exercise restrictions it was suggested that we go to an orthopedic specialist (and both vets recommended Nexus). The initial appointment request was easy as I could upload her imaging and notes from the vets on the Nexus website after which I received a phone call to set up an appointment.

I was able to schedule the surgery the day of her initial consult and the drop off and preparation processes were explained to me. They have an app which is incredibly helpful- it tracks the days before and after surgery, letting you check in with your dog's progress and watch videos for the post-op exercises.

The TPLO with Dr. Dycus was successful and Pru's recovery was as expected. Every single staff member we met at each visit was friendly and helpful- it's obvious that they love their jobs and the animals.

We live in the neighborhood so now on our walks Prudence will stop across the street and stare at Nexus, hoping to either go in for a visit or that maybe someone will come out and say hi to her. Even if I lived 50 miles away instead of mere blocks I'd take my dog here and I will recommend them to every dog owner I know!

Wonderful experience at Nexus. Dr. Dycus and his team are top notch.Our lab had a TPLO performed in November of 2022. Every step was explained in detail so we knew exactly what to expect. As soon as we left our initial consultation I knew our boy Hudson was going to be in the best hands . just wanted to add Hudson had another tear in his other leg about 7 months after the first tear. Once again he received the best care. We were able to get an appt promply and surgery was scheduled shortly after that. Dr. Dycus and his team are the best! They are so caring and provide excellent care!! Highly recommend this group!!💙🐾

Baylor had TPLO surgery 8 weeks ago at Nexus. Dr.Dycus and the staff are compassionate, informative, and helpful. Baylor healed beautifully and it’s due to Dr.Dycus’s expertise in his field and the thorough recovery instructions given by the staff. I highly recommend Nexus!

My very active HavaPoo had to have TPLO surgery in July 2022. From the first phone calls/emails the staff was so friendly and informative. Dr. Dycus took his time to examine and explain the procedure. He put our minds at ease with his friendly, personable nature. Dr. Dycus and Ashley are amazing! Our dog Cooper had TPLO surgery at Nexus and the process was very smooth. Nexus was able to see us the earliest out of the nearest 7 local specialists and the price was as expected. During post-surgery care Nexus was always there checking on Cooper and available for consultation when we had questions. Nexus was also the only place willing to not sedate for X-rays. Cooper is doing great and is on track for a full recovery!

What really sold me on Nexus when I was getting consults was how dog friendly the employees are. They made me feel comfortable leaving my dog there, which is not something I ever feel. Seeing how excited Cooper was to see Ashley during his recheck made me so happy.

I loved that they had over night staff to keep the dogs company and I could call at any time and check on him. I also loved the Facebook post.
