Just want to give a shout out to the ER staff and how amazing everyone was from the second we walked in to discharge. I brought my 4 year old there as advised by her pediatrician and I am very pleased I chose Oneida. All of the nurses were amazing but especially Michelle who treated my daughter as if she was her only patient, even though I know how busy emergency rooms are. Thank you Michelle, Patrice and everyone else in the ER whose names I can’t recall.

Our daughter recently had a tonsillectomy at this hospital. She is 9 years old. We were very happy with everything. The nurses were great especially our RN Drew. Couldn’t be happier with the care and attention given to our daughter here. Thank you

Do not go near this ER. Most of all if you have a disabled child. The nursing staff is horrific. Specifically an elderly one with wide hips who kept making the rudest comments to every nurse that came in to help our child who was panicking as it was his first time in an ER.
As for me and my experience. I have been here for my endo.
Walked in pain, waited for 8 full hours only to walk out pain and told to follow up with my obgyn who told me to go to the ER in the first place.
I’m sure they thought i was pain seeking. Because what other woman would love to sit in a hospital ER lobby for 8 plus hours with a heating pad for a little bit of pain medication
Not me.
The only way i’m going back to that hospital is with a toe tag on my foot.
Good luck.

My mother has Parkinson's and has been at your hospital since Thursday nite. Me and my father have been coming numerous times everyday and bring my little 10 pound dog in a pouch to soothe my mom.. saved her from a full blown attack tonight. The staff this far have been EXCELLENT! I never tried to hide her and no one has said anything about bringing her! Until tonite! At closing of visiting hours one of your staff I never saw before must hate animals and got a security guard to come into my mothers room to tell me I cannot bring her anymore. Her feet never touch the floor. My mother is having hallucinations and severe anxiety attacks which my dog helps with. I have not seen a single sign on your walls anywhere saying you cannot have an animal and I've walked past security downstairs numerous times and nobody has said anything to me until tonight and someone's going to tell me I can't bring her and make a scene in front of my mother who almost had a major attack tonight if it wasn't for my dog. Shame on you people. If I couldn't have her in the hospital begin with someone should have told me that 3 days ago!!! And by the way she is an ESA dog.

This is ridiculous they do not have wheelchairs that have leg extension on them, they expect a patient in excruciating pain to sit in a upright wheelchair and hold their own leg straight while going to X-ray, they don’t have a stretcher or anything she can lay on to elevate her leg because they don’t have room for it in the hall. EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE TREATMENT OF A 14 patient.

Have been sitting here for an hr trying to hold her leg up on our own 😡😡

I do like the hospital as long as you get the right doctors and nurses. Sadly to say my father in law was taken there and he has not received any help needed. He is in his 80s will not eat drink and is in a lot of pain and needed help needed therapy. What did the hospital do? Well they send him home and said nothing wrong with him.

Ok let people suffer and be in pain and just sit at home and rotten away.

This is why this country will fall as we as the middle class are screwed. The poor well we pay for them the rich have the money and the middle class well you are out of luck.

God bless this system as our parents can rotten before they get treatment. What if this was your parent your loved one.

This system is messed up. God help us all as they do t care. But as long as the government gets their money and tells you how to do things. Sorry but this is going to far this system is corrupt

My mother was sent to ED by her nephrologist. So we went to Oneida they told my brother that they couldn't treat her and had to send her to a hospital that could. So they said the closest hospital was Poughkeepsie, are you kidding me, then they weren't able to transport her and wanted to send her by flight, again are you kidding me. So my brother contacted Vinell who indicated they had no call for transport from Oneida hospital but would be glad to take her. Seriously Oneida ED you suck as well. All Poughkeepsie did was give her fluids and check her levels and Oneida couldn't do that . Do not go to Oneida hospital ED

I recently was there with my daughter in the ER. She was treated well by her nurse and PA Dr Gebrael. Very thorough exam, tests and diagnosis. She felt that she was listened to and treated with empathy. So glad we came there.
