Since I was there last they've added a ramp down to the lower area, paved where you park, which was really nice. They added a picnic area with tables. They added some new sitting inside the dog area. I was disappointed that they took the water area away all together. So if you plan on going bring your own water bowls and water.

There was dog poop everywhere that people hadn't picked up. There were also very dirty tennis balls everywhere. I wouldn't touch them, let alone let my dog put them in his mouth! I didn't see any bags provided for people to use to pick up the poop so maybe there should be some places nearby. Very disappointed there was no grass; it was all dirt.

My favorite dog park in the city. And the recent improvements have made it even better! It’s fenced in on all sides, so no worries about taking off the leash. Plus being that it clearly used to be a baseball field, you will clearly be able to have eyes on your dog no matter which direction they run in!

Only thing is really a bummer about this place is they have all this land in yet they choke the dog park down into such a small area. There are benefits to using some of that land towards the dog part such as lowers crime rate by getting people out an active in a prosocial manor, it keeps some of the trash picked up it's just floating around out in the fields because when you're walking around picking up after your dog I don't know about you, I pick up trash when I see it laying right in front of me, and taking your dog out to the park promotes a longer, healthier life enabling one to contribute more to society.

Clean and quiet when you go later in the evening. There is a community dog bowl where you press a button to fill up the bowl so your dogs can drink and someone has a bucket of tennis balls they set out for visiting pups which I thought was super neat. Would definitely go to this spot with the doggos again.

We really like this park, it's big and has a nice view of Palmer Park. We would love to see a couple of trees though, some shade, and more seating!

Could not be more perfect! I found the off leash part for hiking with my doggies and enjoyed every minute. Love that is is like hiking in the mountains right in the middle of Colorado Springs!

Had a fun time taking my new puppy there! Good place I like that there’s two fenced in areas. Only thing I would change is that people pick up after their dogs. There were a few messes that my puppy was interested in so please pick up after them so everyone can enjoy it.
