Wow is really all I can say about this place. We had just rescued a 4 month old puppy that was a little wild and loved to bark at people and animals. We dropped him off at Paw and Hand for the month long Puppy training and he came back a new dog! He is so well behaved and so well trained my wife and I are stunned. This Place exceeded our expectations. Kevin worked with our whole family and taught us so many valuable lessons so that we can continue to train our puppy at home after the month of training. I can't recommend this place enough and we will definitely be doing tune up training every once in a while. Highly highly recommend

Great and totally worth it. If you are in a position where you just got a puppy but work and just life in general tire you out, highly suggest this! When i got Archie any spare time i had was spent trying to train him, but it wasn't enough. In the month i have gotten Archie back he seems like a completely different dog from before the training. After taking the training and transitioning it to home(didn't take much), Archie is more free and hardly ever on a leash unless we are on a walk.

My husband and I adopted our dog, Nyx, in February and had very little idea of what we were in for. She is like a big black bundle of pure impulsivity, no attention span, quite a sprinkle of ornery but also very sweet and loving. Its a paradox, I know. Because of her unique disposition her trainer, at Paw and Hand K9, came up with a game plan that worked specifically for her. She is not an easy dog to train, and we will be working with her a ways in future. However the greatest part is that we were also trained to work with Nyx! Giving us the right tools to work with her has been like getting a gift. Neither myself, my husband or Nyx have perfected this yet but our lives are so much more peaceful. The transformation has been a game changer for all of us. I can't thank Paw and Hand K9 enough for all of help they gave us! Especially her favorite trainer, you know who you are... 🙂

My 4 year old German Shepherd/Husky mix's behavior had deteriorated over the past couple of years to the point that daily life had become difficult. After a board and train program at Paw & Hand, she came back a much more confident and disciplined dog!

If you're committed to putting in the work to improve your dog's behavior and obedience, then I would definitely recommend Paw & Hand as a starting point and foundational step toward that improvement.

Professional and effective. We brought our 8 month old, high energy, high reactivity dog. I had visited to a few board and trains prior to Paw and Hand K9 and it was an obvious choice. They didn't make me feel like a terrible owner or that I had a spoiled and terrible dog like other places had done. The facility clean, well-organized, and designed with your dog's success in mind. I was nervous leaving my pup for 6 weeks but with the visits and frequent videos and texts updates was put at ease. It was so fun to watch her progress, and her confidence increase during her time there. The team is very knowledgeable and compassionate to dog and owner. I was impressed by their desire to meet the needs of the owner's family (top goals in mind) and adapt training plans to that. We specifically asked for our pup to be able to run with us and run alongside us biking and the team practicing those skills with her. I also noticed that during a training session they were attentive to my dogs odd obsession with my watch and they themselves started wearing a watch on the same arm to desensitize her to it. I am so happy with my dogs new skills to go into public places and not lose her mind. She is calm and attentive and has the skills and I have the tools to help her. It has helped us know how to effectively communicate to her and set proper expectations. We are so thankful for what this board and training experience has given us with our dog and the years to come. I would recommend them to anyone!

I cant say enough amazing things about paw and hand, the owners along with their amazing team are not only top notch dog trainers but even better human beings!! We recently completed the 6 week program with our 3rd dog they have trained for us and once again they nailed it !! Every time I drop off a dog for that long of a time you worry about your dog being getting proper attention and love. That worry is diminished when every time you come back for the follow up visits and your dog doesn’t want to leave 😂. If you’re considering a dog trainer look no further!!! This is the ONLY place to trust with your fur babies!!

Copper joined our family when he was just 8 weeks old. At the time we were in the middle of a move. I had attempted to train him myself but having two young boys who also wanted to help train was a bit of a disaster. This led to no obedience and poor manners.

He was a rambunctious pup who didn’t know how to walk on a leash without pulling and lacked manners. He would jump onto guests that came over and barked excessively while in the back yard. It was as if he was the boss of the house. I knew something needed to be done because it became really hectic in the household.

I was referred to Paw and Hand K9 by a young man who I had met at the park. He had the same breed dog as Copper (Australian shepherd) and he was playing frisbee with him. I observed for quite some time prior to approaching him. It was truly impressive how well behaved his dog was. I had asked if he had trained him himself and if he could share any tips and tricks. He had told me he just picked him up from boarding and he kindly gave me contact of Merissa and her team.

I didn’t even hesitate to contact her. I scheduled a meet and greet with Merissa immediately. Her and I went over the different programs thoroughly and what to expect upon dropping him off.

At first we were sad to send him away for so long but knowing we would meet one on one every other week made it a little easier. They also sent updated pictures and videos often which was pretty awesome to see the progress that was being made.

We picked him up today after 7 weeks of him being away and the difference is phenomenal. He’s like a completely different pup. He is calm and respectful. He stays at my side during walks which makes them more enjoyable and also has great recall.

Charlee was amazing and really helped me to be consistent with our follow through. The support doesn’t stop once you take your dog home. They are available for questions at any time. They provide a ton of goodies to take home with you to keep up on training after adjusting back into the home. They also provide follow-up lessons after the program to make sure you and your dog are adjusting and progressing well after their return home.

I highly recommend Paw and Hand K9!

Words cannot express my gratitude and respect for Paw and Hand. I was extremely nervous to drop my baby boy off for six weeks! I was nervous they wouldn’t treat him like I do, he’d forget me or he wouldn’t be the same dog when I got him back… all of my paranoias were extremely far off. I got back the same beautiful boy except he had manners! He was a little over a year, full of energy, went absolutely insane whenever he saw another human being or other animal. He never listened and couldn’t get out of his tunnel vision if he was locked onto something else. The dog we got back was able to recall, no jumping, listened and didn’t act like a loon around others. I have never been more impressed. The best part of it all, he loved it there. Everyone treated our dog with love and it showed. After we got him back home, and we had visits to Paw and Hand, he was sooooo excited to see them all. I received updates weekly that included photos! We were sent home with all kind of goodies. The training we had with Merissa during those six weeks made lasting impressions. It was worth the money. I wanted to give a special thanks to the owner Merissa, she cares and wants your dog to have a better future. Thank you! We will be forever grateful and truly appreciate all you did!
