I reached out to board my 55 pound pit mix and was immediately turned away because she’s not a “family dog”. I’ve boarded my dog at other facilities in the past and it’s normal for places to be apprehensive to breeds like pitbulls but once we do a meet and greet and provide a temperament letter from her vet they happily accept her. I WAS NOT given either option by Pawfect dog. Instead was told that she’s not a family dog like a lab or golden retriever. In my opinion if you are going to have prejudices towards certain breeds, you should not be in this line of work because the reality is that ANY DOG can be reactive not just pitbulls.

I've been coming to Yuka's Pawfect Pet Grooming salon for more than 5 years and driving from Kona. Pawfect Dog Grooming is one of the best groomers I've worked with, and she absolutely loves her four-legged customers. Her shop is super clean, organized, and professional, and my kiddo’s always looked better than ever when I picked them up. While they are in the spa, I take a side trip to Waimea for lunch or tour some local nurseries. So if you take the beautiful drive to Hawi and use Pawfect Dog Grooming, you will be very pleased.

Husband or boyfriend of Yuka almost took my life and two others today on the mountain road and took no accountability for it nor even acknowledged it after I watched him eventually pull into Pawfect Dog Grooming. Very unprofessional look on any business.

My dog loves and I love this grooming salon. You can genuinely tell that your pup is getting 100% attention/caring grooming. The special decor collars that are put on after are sooo soo cute. Forget PETCO mill and go to someone who will treat your pup like their own. Mine loves regular 6 week grooming-no tangles/fresh breath/toe nail buffing and he's so handsome!

This was the second time & last time we will use her services. The first time required completely shaving the dog I was charged $125.00. I bit my tongue but the dog was in bad shape. I bought the dog back after 12 week's and asked her to trim the coat to one inch. The dog came back looking like it had been trimed with hedge trimmers & was charged $110.00. Never again!!!

The groomer was very gentle and sweet to my dog which I really appreciated. The groomer worked hard to give me the cut I asked for and overall I am satisfied and would recommend her to others. Thank you!
