A couple weekends ago me and a friend were over there and my friend picked up a dog and that same day I asked if I could pick up a cat and they said I can once the cat has all of its shots and I called this same place and they said that somebody has already reserved that same cat which I know that’s not true cause I asked if I could have that cat first and they said I could once that cat is ready to be picked up and when I was over there nobody told me that someone else has already reserved that cat

The old woman working here is among the most bitter and unpleasant people I have had the misfortune of meeting. She was extremely critical and rude to everyone. The place had a ton of mice, and there were rodent droppings in some of the kennels. Avoid this place if you want to be treated with respect.

Dorothy has been the biggest animal advocate in this city for 2 decades +, fighting for laws/mandates to spay/neuter dogs/cats.
She gives selflessly on a daily basis her time and expertise at the no kill small shelter.
There are times I truly don't know what I would have done without her and PAWS.
IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A CHARITY TO GIVE YOUR MONEY TO PLEASE CONSIDER PAWS MUSKOGEE

Went in to look to adapt a dog til the lady at the front quickly changed my mind with her disrespect, and hateful attitude. Those animals deserve so much better than being in her care.

If you are interested in "doing the right thing" and adopting be prepared for a barge of accusations and disrespect. I understand auditing people to make sure dogs go to a good home, but, it would be nice if there was an ounce of appreciation for your interest in adoption rather than immediately trying to make accusations of you being a bad pet owner. I feel bad for all the missed opportunities for these animals to find good homes by people who are off put by this awful approach. Now I see why people choose not to adopt.

So so very caring. Very large extra clean pens. Most excellent staff. When you take our get a pet from them you know they are taken very well cared for.

The place smells like they never clean. They hit you with a barrage of personal questions. They like to "collect" other people's pets and sell them out of state. They don't want you to get your pet back.
