I don’t know if my review is due to my situation or my experience or both. I have been coming here since 2020. I had a twin pregnancy to term and a singleton pregnancy to term. This year I had an anatomy scan and they told me that my baby has severe growth restriction, 4 birth defects, cystic hybroma, and single umbilical artery. They said that my baby should be terminated at 20 weeks. I am devastated and Dr. M or wherever her name is was very shallow when I asked her questions and I told her that even with her 10 years of experience that she could be more transparent with me and she not. She spoke to me as if I were here co worker with all her jargon. Grateful they found these results so I can be healthy moving forward but overall a very devastating experience and it is not there problem. But using the words “comfort care” regarding having a baby that I was pregnant with as the only thing that would happen if it was born was so devastating. Also the ultra sound tech had an assistant which I have never seen before and she was very rude and crossed her arms my entire visit.

Highly recommend. Dr. McElvy is the best doctor. Dr. Gilbert is also a great doctor as well, no complaints. I have had the best experience during both pregnancies with Dr. McElvy. She delivered my twins and my triplets, both were great experiences with zero complaints. She is such a sweet, caring doctor. Absolutely love her. Friendly service. Office is always clean and very nice nursing staff as well. I also love how the location is so close to the hospital I delivered at. 10/10.

Sherrie McElvy's attitude is one of the worst we've experienced. I don't understand how someone can think, a doctor especially, that's it okay to be so nasty to a pregnant woman who is there for a high risk appointment. We were there together, and after a very short, and borderline snippy introduction, she remained quiet during the ultrasound. That was fine. But toward the end my wife and I were inquiring about some of the terminology she was using, asking her to tell us what they meant and her response was, 'Well, why do you care? I'm telling you, you don't have to worry about it". She gave a similar response to the other questions we had as well. Apologies if our curiosity caused us to ask some questions but is that the literal point of being able to meet with a doctor? We won't be coming back to this location. After speaking to another family that requested to be seen by another doctor, we realized we weren't the only ones who have had this type of experience with this doctor. We will also address these concerns with someone from leadership.

This review is a review on management. The employees are kind and professional and clinical staff is kind and professional too. Since the Roseville office has closed I feel like management hasnt hired enough staff to answer phones, return messages, check people in. Please dont take your employees for granted now that since the closure in Roseville you have a greater patient load.

I went in with my wife to get to see my son. I was turned away because they have decided the prenatal area is not a fit place to have my ten month old. There are no mandates for this, this is simply for their convenience. I missed out on meeting my son today because they could not be bothered to have an infant in a stroller in with them. Other Sutter facilities have had no issue with this, it is solely their policy. I am disappointed to miss my son and disgusted at their lack of decency.

WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD!! This location is absolutely horrible their customer service is the worst. I had 3 referrals faxed and called for two weeks straight attempting to figure out the issue that continued to occur. On my last call to them I spoke with a front desk associate who repeated cut me off, refused to listen to my concerns and would not help me. They continued to tell me that I would have to call sutter referral line because I’m not in their system although I had seen them 2 years prior. The associate proceeded to tell me “we don’t work with the referral people at sutter, so you can call them back and give me the exact time and date it was faxed and then I may be able to assist you.” She then proceed to tell me “I don’t have anyone listed under your last name only a different last name” which she told me. At no point should another patients information be given out. After that I called my OBGYN office back and asked to be referred elsewhere. The referral was sent over same day and I was scheduled for an appointment within an hour.

Ironically enough once I started involving other people into this issue they seemed to have received my referral but I was told it would be “another 3-5 business days before the doctor could look it over for you to be scheduled for a visit.” This visit must be completed before a certain week in your pregnancy and they seem to not care at all.

I would also like to note I saw them prior for a different issue and the doctor pinched my stomach and told me “baby looks fine you just have some extra weight on you”.

This place is highly unprofessional and should not be referred to for any patients. They’re rated 3 stars for a reason.

I hope the hard working doctors can see this. I have seen and heard good things about the doctors. This rating is for the billing and office staff. I am double insured with 2 PPO plans, but was mistakenly marked as a self pay patient. For over 10 months after my visit, I had never received a bill; so I thought insurances took care of it. On the 11th month, a 3rd party billing service reached out me --by text message! I called the office. The billing staff C, who is probably the person failed to properly store my insurance information and failed to bill me promptly, acted completely differently from the gentle doctor I saw. I called 2 -3 times but couldn't get any help. I eventually elevated this to an office manager and provided my insurance info agai. Now 2 weeks have passed, no update has been provided. I tried to call and follow up, but could never get hold of anyone in the office. I know this place monitors and manages their google reviews. I will definitely discuss my experience with a doctor there next time I see one. If you decide to go with a MFM doctor here, to save you some heartburns, you should discuss the billing department performance with the doctor to make sure it's under the business owner's watch.

We loved each and every visit with Perinatal Associates. The doctors and the technicians were wonderful. We looked forward to each visit, and left feeling cared for and well informed. Great experience overall, will definitely be going back with baby #2.
