When I added a new dog to my home, just a few weeks later I was struggling with inter dog aggression with my resident dog. I worked with Ellen on a variety of problem behaviors including dog/dog aggression, resource guarding, handling sensitivities, and we even developed a protocol for greeting novel people. Through the training process, life threw us some curve balls, but Ellen was there to support us through some extraordinary circumstances- like hurricane Helene. Ellen adjusted our behavior plan according to my bandwidth, worked seamlessly alongside my veterinary behaviorist, and supported us through medication & life changes until me and the dogs were back to living in harmony.

I reached out to Pet Harmony after my parrot was diagnosed with a condition that will require him to take medication for the rest of his life. My veterinarian gave me a lot of advice but I was still struggling to get him to take the medication reliably. I needed help with teaching him cooperative care, I was worried and anxious and spending a lot of time trying different options. They paired us up with Ellen who has a lot of bird experience.
Ellen was great to work with. She spent time talking to us to learn his history and preferences, and then gave us suggestions tailored to his experience. With her guidance we were able to figure out what he is willing to eat with his medications. He is doing better and we are relieved.
I highly recommend this group for any behavioral challenges you might have. The entire process was smooth and easy. They all seem very kind and understanding.
