I have visited other pet supplies plus locations throughout St. Louis County but this was the first time I visited my own neighborhood location in Florissant. Let me first say I never knew that these wonderful pet stores have self dog washing stations. And for $15 they give you the whole set up and shampoo’s where you could wash your own dog in a raised style bathtub. The blow dryer, which is conveniently attached right there where you’re washing your dog blows, cool air so your dog doesn’t get overheated like mine does. I will be coming back to this pet store more often for sure.

The one star is for offering the self serve dog wash. However what's the point of having one if the employees aren't going to enforce the rules? I go in at 7:15pm & there's only 2 dogs ahead of me and one is already being washed. The guy ahead of me literally walked in one minute before me. After 20 minutes (which is the alloted time for each pet wash per their rules & signage) I start asking for updates and all the employees say is that they should be finishing up. Here comes 8pm and I'm upset and I have to go back and tell the two inconsiderate people that they're over their time because none of the 3 employees working would. Which I partly understand since they probably don't get paid much to deal with the drama and two of them looked like teenagers, but they should always have a manager or someone with authority onsite to enforce the policies. I get my dog cleaned in 10 minutes so I'm leaving at 8:20pm now, tell me why the guy that came in one minute before me is still being allowed to wash his dog? There was a couple with two dogs that were waiting as well (they probably came like 5 minutes after I did) so the employees knew there was a line of people waiting but none had the backbone to tell those other people to hurry up. Also, the dryers do suck which is probably why the woman with the white dog thought she was entitled to stay in the station until her dog was completely dry but that's not how it works - 20 minutes that's it. If the franchise owner is reading watch the cameras if you think I'm exaggerating- very poor experience

First time using the self wash service and was very happy. We brought our own shampoos, but we're very happy to see options provided, as well as towels. I wish the blow dryers were a bit stronger to keep the bath times lower. Maybe even adjustable so as not to be overpowering for smaller dogs.

1st time in this store. They have a large selection of everything with decent prices. I was asked if I needed assistance finding anything which was a plus in my book. The young lady that checked me out even offered to take my items to my car because I mentioned I was in pain. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will be back.

The associate, I believe her name is Zoey, was extremely helpful. She greeted us and helped us find exactly what I needed. The suggestions she offered were spot on for what I needed. I thought she was a manager, she was that professional.

Amended review: A manager did call to apologize. I didn't expect that. Had no previous problem until yesterday. I'm still keeping the Petco appointment because my doggies need vaccines before the end of the year.
Original review: Went today for the vet clinic. Got there, no vet. No signage that the clinic was cancelled. The employees didn't say anything until I asked. Several people were there with their pets. I'll make an appointment at Petco. Their vets always show up!
