We bought a new aquarium set up & spent around $1200. We went back a cpl days later for fish. And oh my God the rude!! For one a worker came up to us & said we cldnt by fish yet. As if it was too soon for the setup. Had she asked we wld have learned we have a 200 gallon salt water at home. Then the kid helping us was struggling with the bag so I was helping him. Instead of telling me not to she rudely told him she was going to get someone more experienced. He was very embarrassed to say the least. She was so unprofessional. And it looks like she didn't wash her hair for a year. Absolutely disgusting. If you ever go there ask for Annette. Shes fantastic. We will never go back.
I'm revising this 3/25. Unfortunately we went back. Other than the change of employees nothing has changed. Do you guys try to find the rudest people possible The tanks were cleaner today yet the fish still have ick. The girl helping us today had zero idea of what she was talking about. She was rude & condescending. She was clearly uneducated about fish & aquariums. She got mad when i told her she was wrong. Sorry but she was. And if someone makes a corperate complaint why would you have the manager of that store handle it? That makes no sense. As for me I'll keep heading down to Green Bay for my fish supplies.

Sometimes they are short on staff but they're always friendly and helpful! They have recently expanded what they carry for Rabbit and similar small critters, mostly with Oxbow, and that's awesome!

No e place to go to. Only thing that I didn't like was that they didn't have the dog food that I feed my dog only down fall and didn't have the large size dog kennel I needed

Five stars is not nearly enough for this pet store. We rescued a puppy today that was in very poor condition. The overwhelming care and support from the staff was nothing shy of excellent. From bathing, to recommendations on how to care for her, they were all hands on deck to help us on our journey to saving this animal. I wish I could remember all their names to thank them individually. I want to give a big shout out to how great this store is! I will definitely do whatever business I can at this store!

I have MANY issues with this place,

First off:

The employees from my experience of going there are incredibly rude and act like you simply do not exist at all..

Second off:

it is a pet store that sells live animals; meaning that the animals are coming from mills, where the animals are trapped in tiny filthy cages where they can hardly move around and are forced to breed in horrible conditions; including but not limited to:
Several animals in a single tiny enclosure, lack of proper lighting/heating, fecal matter and ammonia not cleaned, cohabiting animals that should NOT under any circumstance be together, leading to grueling bloody fights between them, among lots more.

Third off:

The prices you pay here are going to be much higher than literally any other place, such as walmart for example.

Fourth off:

Going back to the second criticism, the store themselves cohab animals that should not be cohabbed which each other.

Fifth off:

They sell products that are not safe or suitable for animals, such as:

Kaytee cages - The tiny colorful fully plastic hamster/gerbil cages that give them quite literally no room to enjoy life.

when it comes to reptiles they sell several products that are terrible for reptiles, such as:

Calcium sand - once a reptile realizes there is calcium in the sand, they will being eating it and will likely die from impaction.

Red/Blue tinted night lights - there was once a time when people believed that reptiles can't see the red and blue tints, well they can! These disrupt their natural day-night cycle, wont technically do any harm but felt like I had to mention them

"Starter Kits" - gives you the bare-minimum of what any animal would actually require, for example; the store is selling a bearded dragon starter kit for $220, which includes a 20 gallon tank which equates to 30x12x12inches, which would give a real bearded dragon hardly any space at all to move around, keep in mind the bare minimum for a beardie is a 120 gallon tank, which equates to 4x2x2feet plus it also comes with calcium sand, and the cheapest equipment money can buy.
