Just moved here from out of state, came to wash my English Mastiff and Cane Corso pup (1yr old) and before I could enter the store the CC slipped her collar. Prior to entering I made sure they were ready for me, and and the store manager must have seen this all go down because he quickly jumped into action and offered to help me hold on to my oldest dog and keep her calm as people were coming and going. While one of the other patrons helped me try to wrangle my CC.

Overall the staff was super friendly, Dusty (the new store manager gave me a quick tour of the facility) and walked my EM while I calmed down my CC as this was an unfamiliar place for her. (We have only lived in Springfield for a couple months)

Dusty made sure we had everything we needed, welcomed us to the area. A few of the staff even occasionally stopped by to check in on us. I think mainly because they loved my fluffy companions. I will say trying to control a few hundred pounds of dogs is no easy task by yourself.

I will definitely be back. For me customer service beats pricing any day, and by golly this team has it!! They also do have a wonderful selection of anything you can possibly need. I didn’t get the chance to peruse the store yet but I am familiar with this chain and why I have been doing business there.

Keep up the great work everyone there and thanks again everyone for all your kindness and compassion for what you do and the animals you see!

WOW was my reaction to this visit here. We came to get stuff for our cats and was looking at the animals they have. This first lady ran in front of us to the only two animal cages we touched and made sure they were locked, as if we were going to steal a bird or a ferret. So we immediately left the isle due to how rude she acted. So we got what we needed to get and was checking out with a different lady, whose attitude was just as bad as the first ladies. My husband asked ME(NOT THE LADY)was the medicine in the box and very rudely the lady said "it says on the box it's not in there". My husband had to ask twice for his receipt.Very unprofessional and could tell neither of them like their job. We live close to this store and from now on we will drive across town because of how we were treated.

Great place. Everybody is super friendly. Started going here more as my other pet store is geared toward bigger. I have a chihuahua and they have plenty for her. Reasonably priced. The service is great!

All employees are very helpful and friendly. The manager explained a lot the dog foods to me.I got a dog from a rescue in Texas she was at a high kill Shelter and pregnant. I buy her hartwick chicken breast jerky and other treats and toys . Go check the place out they have a lot stuff and if you sign up for rewards you get great percentile off. Do it yourself grooming.or they have a groomer too. GI check them out .

It's always a crap shoot on if what I need will be in. Today 2/1/2025 I stood there for 20 minutes waiting to be assisted on a reptile I was interested in purchasing. They were not that busy several staff around and no one seemed available to assist me. So I left the other purchases I had in there proper places and left the store.

Went in to get cat food and ended up stepping in some dog poop near the groomers area. I asked him for some wipes to clean my shoe. He sighed super loud and gave me TWO wipes, then called for someone to clean up. A woman came to clean it and I asked her for more wipes because he only gave me 2. Assuming he heard that, because he slammed the door right after. The dog he was grooming was yelping in pain and he told the dog to shut up and kept going. The lady gave me more wipes and finished cleaning and walked off. She never spoke a word to me or asked if I needed more (which I did) I had dog poop on my hand and probably a handful of poopy wipes with nobody around. I couldn’t find a trash can or hand sanitizer anywhere. All employees out of sight so I couldn’t ask for anything either. They treated me like I was the one who pooped on the floor. Used to love this store and but now will never come back

This company bans people for leaving honest reviews. Ones that help their store improve their animal care. Last time I was there I made a review that was private to them to help them improve. They had food that was DAYS OLD!!! And no fresh water. Today after my visit I was chased out by their assistant manager telling me I was banned from all their stores. It’s a good thing I didn’t buy anything today due to their unprofessionalism.

Do you ban every customer that gives you negative feedback about your store? Every single person in the store besides the clerk Tom wasn’t working or asking anyone if they need help. Had to go up to the cashier multiple times to ask about product/backstock. Have better customer service and maybe if someone’s getting banned don’t yell at them across the parking lot. She saw me 3x in the store today and never said anything until I was out the door and almost to the car. Boy am I glad I can’t go back. Shouldn’t spend money at a bad business anyway.
