So just want to let people know this Petland charged me the wrong price for a bird when I went back to talk to them the district manager would not even come out and discuss what we could do to make it right. He sent his employees out to tell me to get out and refund my money or call the police..Well I chose for them to call police out so there is documentation of the event because all I wanted do is talk to him about the price of the bird I thought I was purchasing.Never once did the district manager come out and talk to me about the situation and I ended up getting band from this location due to negligence on there part...Its ridiculous to claim your an expert in animals when you don't even know which animal you are selling.. Guess my money was not good enough to be spoken to like a customer...oh well..yall just be safe buying from this location because if something is wrong and you want to speak with manager....its not going to happen and you will get band 😪😪

Lanee is absolutely incredible! Her knowledge of animals is nothing short of extraordinary. She had an innate ability to understand and share fascinating facts about all the reptiles, leaving us in awe. Everyone here were the friendliest and most approachable people you’ll ever meet!!!

The staff is so friendly and helpful! They aren't local to me, but still worth a bit of a drive since they are the closest place with ghost shrimp. The animal pens are large, and the critters healthy and active.

I have a complaint about HARLEY, a supervisor at the Petland located in Rome, Ga. on Turner McCall Blvd!! I visited Petland with a girl that I was babysitting on Sunday November 3, 2024 around 2:45pm until 3:45pm. I had no intention of buying any pets this day but one of the staff members ensured us that we could pet as many of the puppies that we wanted in the enclosed gates. HOWEVER, during our visit, no one ever informed both of us, together, that we were not supposed to place any of the puppies on the bench. I've never been to a Petland and played with any of the dogs before, so I did not know that this was a rule. I left to look at the fish on the other side of the store, while the girl I was babysitting stayed to pet more dogs. When I came back, she was playing with another dog in the enclosed gates and, at some point, she set the dog on the bench. Harley became very aggressive, storming in the gate and taking the dog away saying that she told us to not have the dogs on the bench and "YOU'RE DONE" "YOU'RE NOT PLAYING WITH ANY MORE DOGS." I was surprised because her rudeness and aggressive attitude was completely uncalled for and no one ever told us to not have the dogs on the bench prior to this moment. We started to leave, but I went back inside and asked her for her name and if she was the manager or not. She was still very rude, gesturing to her name tag in a nasty way. I let her know that no one ever informed us to not have the dogs on the bench. She insisted that she did. I told her I didn't remember that AT ALL and she said "I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU REMEMBER." Then, I asked for her to clarify her name again, she said "Harley" and I said "Thank you, have a good day" with the intention of reporting her.

All the other employees that helped us were very pleasant and patient with us, but the leadership here, namely HARLEY, was very disappointing. Throughout the exchange, I remained calm and respectful and she still had a nasty attitude. And EVERY employee that was standing there can tell you that I was very calm while she was very rude. Something needs to be done about it, and I expect to be reached out to regarding my experience.

Almost purchased a puppy here a few months back. The puppies were not taken care of and were given minimal care. They wanted $10,000 for a bernedoodle they didn't even have any information on. I asked questions regarding genetics and they had no idea if the puppy was an F1 or multi gen. THIS IS BASIC INFORMATION!!!!

The lady that works their is so rude and disrespectful. Not sure of her name but she had dark hair and glasses. The other 2 ladies were super sweet.
