Really great people! They did a fantastic job with my 2 boys, a Husky mix and a Australian Shepard. My Mix does not like his nails done but they were patient and worked with him and I've never seen them done so well. My Australian Shepard has so many cow licks in his fur it's hard to trim it without it looking choppy but they gave him the best trim ever. Not to mention when I first dropped them off they had many dogs waiting in their kennels waiting to be groomed but they were all so quiet. It was a very nice environment to bring my boys in especially since they are both nervous about new places. All the staff were really nice and great with the dogs. 10/10 will be bringing my boys here again!

They did an amazing job grooming my standard poodle! She looks amazing! The groomers are knowledgeable and make sure to ask lots of questions so that they know exactly what you want. Im looking forward to bringing my dog back!

I have never had a dog that needed groomer until I got my Toy Poodle. We just had our second visit at Pets of Distinction and it was another great visit!! Mrs. Sharon takes her time explaining what services were done and makes sure that I understand why this and that was done. I am a very happy customer and highly recommend the shop to others. I feel very comfortable leaving my sweet puppy in their care.

I appreciate this place so much! The level of customer service, the experience and wisdom, and the professionalism are unparalleled! They truly care about the well-being of their clients (furry and bi-ped, alike). They've been first-alerts to possible health issues with pets and maintain a true bearing to breed standards, while also caring for the needs of the pets -- especially if they're senior pets, puppies, mothers, disabled, etc. They explain their process, their recommendations, and are patient with questions. I'm grateful for them! Thank you for great pet and customer care!

We got a dog during the pandemic in 2020. When we first got him, he was extremely excitable and hyper. We had never had a dog that needed to be groomed so I didn’t know where to go. I saw that this particular groomer had several really good review reviews so I thought I would give it a try. When I picked him up, The owner took me to the back and told me she needed to speak with me about my dog. She went on to ask me if I had ever heard of a “ball bat” dog. When I said no, she said it’s the kind of dog you need to take out back and beat with a baseball bat. She told me that was exactly what my dog was. I was in such shock at the time that I couldn’t say a word, but later I started to wonder how my dog may have been treated when I wasn’t present, if she would say this to my face. It was extremely unprofessional and made me very, very upset. Needless to say, we found another groomer, who we still go to.
Yes my dog was very hyper, but a lot of dogs, especially doodles, are at first. He is now a wonderfully behaved dog. If I could give this business negative stars I would. It’s hard to believe that someone who could say something so cold would want to work with animals.

Absolutely the best groomer in Kingsport as the reviews show! They have been taking care of my animals for around a year and I have never had a single issue. When they get done they could be entered in a show!!

I brought my 4 month old Basset Hound puppy for nail trimming. The team was so kind, professional, and loving to my Sidney girl. We will continue to bring our puppy here for all of her grooming needs!

Best place to bring your furry loved ones for their care and to be groomed. Same owner for over 50 years and customer service is priority with her. Sharon has spent a life time not only grooming dogs, but has showed them professional, studied all the different breeds, and even though she it not a veterinary she can tell what is going on with animals. She is like the animal whisperer but better. I have been in and seen many grooming shops across the country and to this day I would prefer to see her. She even has a couple that drives in from CA to get their dog done when they are traveling. To this day I still call her before a vet when I have issues with any of my pets, not only because she is good at what she does and puts her name on everything she does, but she also my mother. Love ya mom
