Dr. Berger and his team are incredible, kind, and compassionate. We brought our puppy, Cartier, home about 3 months ago and have had a nightmare time due to a parasite that was found on his first exam. After multiple rounds of treatment and visiting Dr. B sometimes several times a week, he is finally all better and looking forward to all the fun puppy things he hasn’t been able to enjoy. Dr. B has been tremendously kind and helped make sure I didn’t lose my mind lately. Dr. B, Sarah, Joyita, and all the rest of the staff always make sure our little guy is comfortable and answer the thousands of questions I’ve had since becoming a new dog dad. Their fear free approach has helped make going to the vet a non-event for us and Cartier is always excited to see everyone.

There are definitely cheaper options around, but at Petwell you truly get what you pay for (and they offer convenient monthly care memberships that can really help make the cost more manageable, especially if extensive care is necessary as in our case). We couldn’t be more grateful to have found this wonderful team and look forward to having them as part of our extended family for many years to come. I’d highly recommend Petwell to anyone, but especially new pet owners who might need more guidance from a very patient vet team.

Dr. Brain Berger and the staffs are super helpful. I was preparing an international travel document for my cat and had a last-minute request for his vaccine record. They accommodated me and saved my day.

I could not have asked for a better vet experience for my protective pitty Beano. Dr Berger believes that it should be a positive experience for the pets so he makes it to where the pet gets to take their time and become acclimated. He makes sure that treats are already on the floor. The staff is all very patient and kind with you and your pet.

Just be aware that if your pet is showing signs that they are too afraid to be touched or handled, Dr Berger will reschedule you with a plan on how to make sure your pet is relaxed the next time. So this "no fear" method can be inconvenient for those who do not want to be rescheduled, but it is extremely necessary for the pet and their experience at the vet.

My Great Dane has been visiting Dr. Berger and his wonderful staff since she was a tiny puppy and every visit here has been wonderful.

The staff and Dr. Berger have a special gift in really paying attention to my dog and me. It's pretty nice feeling like you are the most important person in their life at that moment and nothing will distract that. That level of attention is rare to come by, and is much appreciated. I know sometimes appointments can run long, and you may be waiting in a room for them, but if you think about it, they're giving the same attention that you'll be receiving to someone else at that moment. Be patient and you will be rewarded with their care.

Dr. Berger has always been very open and honest with me when it comes to my dog, and explains what is going on, and is willing to take the time with you to go over the details. I really like that I feel like I am part of a process and treated like a concerned pet parent, rather than another patient to finish up with before going to the next. Their transparency about fees/costs is also helpful as well.

I really can't recommend them enough. Even though I don't live/work that close anymore, it's just worth the time/effort to keep visiting them as I don't know where else I would get this level of service.

Dr. Berger is a caring vet who is gentle with our dog and always explains his treatment plan thoroughly to my husband and me. We appreciate his cautious and curious approach to potential medical issues and his efforts to investigate them fully to prescribe the appropriate treatment. So glad we found this place! Staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and organized. Very clean and cozy rooms as well. We were nervous about getting our cat spayed and they went out of their way to make us comfortable and gave us a really cute personalized binder with pre surgery test results, what to expect, and a take home goodie. Awesome experience!

I took my senior cat for a checkup in early December 2023, as he was experiencing sneezing. However, upon returning home, my cat stopped eating, and it became incredibly difficult to reach the vet for assistance. The only communication method available was through text, and they would only call back at their convenience. It became apparent that once they received payment, their level of care drastically decreased. Tragically, my beloved cat passed away a few days after the visit on 12/18/2023, yet the vet showed no sympathy or support. The only interaction I had with them was during their vacation, where they made it clear that discussing my pet's passing was an inconvenience. A simple gesture such as a sympathy card could have provided some comfort, but it seems my pet meant nothing to this vet. This lack of empathy and care for senior feline patients is unacceptable. If you have a senior cat, I strongly urge you to seek veterinary care elsewhere, as this practice seems to prioritize dogs and lacks compassion for older cats.

We highly recommend Dr. Berger and Petwell veterinary. They are always fast to respond and answer our questions. We are able to schedule appointments quickly. Dr. Berger has a very calming demeanor and our two anxious dogs do very well in the environment.
