I have pinnacle vet for over 8 years. On August 8, my 13-year-old dog. That I watched take his first breath and his last His body started shutting down fast. It was obvious what needed to be done so we headed to his vet Pinnacle. Where we were told when the Doctor got in. He would be too busy doing surgeries to even look at my dog. We were offered no assistance. No sympathy, she wouldn't even come to the car and look at the situation. All she could say is. I'm sorry your dog is sick. I lost a good friend that day

What a wonderful place to do business with. I was searching online to get veterinarian supplies when I came across pinnacle veterinarian clinic. I started to order a couple of things but had a question, so I called and talked to somebody that was very helpful and I do appreciate it. The team at Pinnacle truly love what they do and it shows! The compassion, love and the time they spend explaining what is going on with your pet is immeasurable. Plus, the follow-up shows how much they care about your fur baby. They saved our Luci from what could have been an extremely quick and sad ending. Update 10/11/2024 I have been struggling since 2/29/2024 on how and when I would write this update because on Feb 29, 2024 after trusting Pinnacle Veterinary Staff with my best friend of almost 15 years for the previous month to help my Grania, I made the most difficult decision on my life to let her go. I will start by saying this is not the first time I have had to make this decision so I thought I knew what to expect. My husband went in to talk to the techs and came out and said they do a one and done shot. I had never heard of that and I should have asked more questions but I was very upset at the time.

What he did then was horrible.

The stuff he injected to kill her was thick. It required great pressure to force this stuff into into her leg-vein. She struggled. And She was Afraid. But it was too late for us to stop this horror. We stood by and watched that man kill our dog, without mercy, without a shred of kindness.

It wasn't a kind death with a vet who cared— with a sedative administered first — so over ten minutes she would go to sleep before the lethal injection was given. She wasn't a eased into death, she was given an abrupt lethal injection and was gone within 10 seconds, so the vet could leave and not be bothered to come back in "One and Done"!

She trusted us to protect her and we failed her! I have had nightmares and I will never trust this vet again! I vowed then that I would never again trust a vet/a doctor so completely that I would ever put myself in a position that I had to allow anything like this ever to happen to anyone else I loved.

Two months ago our next older dog 13, who has had heart problems for over 5 years, wasn't doing very well. He was my husbands so he made the final decision and we took him to our vet in Monette. My husband was with him and he was eased into death.

If / When you have to make this decision, make sure it is in a loving way and be in the room! Your pet will look for you! They trust you!

2020 Dr. Gartner is really amazing! The vet techs and staff are friendly and very helpful!
