They canceled my appointment, rescheduled me for a month later, then canceled the rescheduling. I ended up having to go to the Madeira location. Madeira made an appointment for me at the Merced location for bloodwork; Merced failed to schedule my followup to the bloodwork. I am transgender and Merced employees repeatedly referred to me as my legal name even though they asked me for my preferred name & pronouns, which was not an issue in Madeira. Just go to Madeira, they’re more efficient and more polite over there.

The nurse, Patricia I believe was her name who had an accent was the nicest, informative and helped me schedule a future appointment to work with my work schedule and no judgment. Only downfall is having to go out of town for certain appointments but otherwise good place.

I’ve been receiving services at planned parenthood since 2004, this is by far the worst experience I’ve had at this location!! I’ve been to this location before, but never have I encountered this type of service with the ladies at the counter. I have written a formal email to headquarters to express my sentiments. It is completely unacceptable to be charging customers for results of lab tests that were already paid for. Not only that, but they made it seem like something was off , wrong, or abnormal and would not share that information unless I paid up. About an hour later, the nurse practitioner called me back and said nothing was wrong and she just wanted to share information about my Oestradiol levels!!!! Never going back there again!!!

Recently walked into the facility around 8am. The Employee @ front desk didn’t even acknowledge me or anything, she was on a call so I completely understand I just waited, call ended and the employee still didn’t acknowledge me. She then took another phone call without saying a word I still patiently waited, it wasn’t until another employee came from the back and kindly said we will be right with you. Then finally I was acknowledged. I’m always sympathetic because you never know what someone is going through but at the least say “hello be right with you” something to let me know I’m seen. Really rude. Get her some Re-training for front desk/customer service please.

This has to be one of the best Planned Parenthood’s that I have been too. I’ve lived in So Cal and have been to some nice ones but this one won me over with the staff. Everyone was so kind. It felt cozy and not at all like a doctors office. I got my implant removed here and it didn’t hurt at all which I was so surprised. The doctor I got was so patient and help ease my anxiety the hole time. She was so nurturing and non judgmental. The whole staff here is one of the best I’ve seen.

I was afraid but the staff were very reassuring and always made sure I was knowledgeable about what we were doing. The IUD insertion felt like when I was pregnant and my baby moved in my uterus it was a nostalgic feeling so I laughed not painful at all! I’m a new patient. Great experience.

Showed up and check in for my appointment 11 minutes early. Taken back 1 minute before my scheduled appointment. Given a robe and told to undress so they could put in the implant. Sat there disrobbed for 58 minutes. Called my boyfriend since it was after 5 and asked him if people had walked out or if the doors were locked. He told me 3 nurses had already walked out. I got dressed and walked into the hall and called for someone to answer. No one did. Walked down the corridor to the main lobby and surprised the receptionist since she didn't think anyone was still there. THEY COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT ME!!! I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE. Total lack of patient care!!!
