We used private training several years ago for our dog Emmy, and Keaton was her trainer. We were so happy with the results that when we saw some of the team had opened Precision Dog Training, we knew our 15-month-old Catahoula/Weimaraner mix, Willow, would be in great hands.

Precision has made a huge difference in Willow! She came in very anxious and struggled with separation anxiety, but she left with so much more confidence and self-control. Their 3-week board and train program was the perfect fit for our busy schedules. While I was initially anxious and missed her like crazy, the staff did a fantastic job keeping us updated with photos and videos, which helped so much.

We were also incredibly impressed with her trainer, Riley. Willow absolutely adored her—we weren’t even sure she’d want to come home! We can’t recommend Precision Dog Training enough. They are truly the best

Just finished our first round of group training classes with Precision. This is actually the third training center we have taken our new pup. The first two places just didn't meet our needs but we had a wonderful experience at Precision Dog Training. Our trainer for Puppy 101 was Emily and she was amazing. Very helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable. We have already signed up for the next round of classes and are excited to continue with Precision Dog Training Academy.

Emily gave my young bloodhound puppy, Humboldt, and I a wonderful one-on-one training experience. We went over all the basics and I could not be more thrilled with the progress Humboldt made from beginning to end. I am happy to say that I will be continuing to use Precision Dog Training for all my future dog needs. Attached is a photo of Humboldt in his celebratory bandana they gave him to celebrate the end of his introductory program. I was so impressed by the professional staff, the clean facilities and the intelligent approach to training that marks the Precision Dog Method. I can’t recommend them more!

My journey looking for a dog trainer started the moment I decided I wanted to get a dog. By the time my pup had gotten his last round of shots I think I had reached out to nearly every dog trainer in the city getting a feel for them. Mike, the owner of Precision, was the only one that replied with a real response (that wasn’t a sales pitch, that wasn’t a Customer Service answering service, or freaking AI.) This was also about the time I realized their facility is in the same shopping center as our vet, Dr. Church at Mill Creek Animal Hospital. Our vet also had great things to say about Precision.

We stopped by one day after getting out of the vet’s office just to check the place out. Despite being busy, they made a lot of time for us as unexpected guests. The gal at the desk went and found us Emily, one of their actual dog trainers, to give us some info about their services. At this point, I was feeling like a very nervous dog momma and my list of “things” we needed to work on felt quite long and outside of the realm of “normal.” Emily REALLY listened to me and took an evaluation of my puppy. She assures me he’s absolutely normal. I think that was the first deep breath I took in months… AND THEN she proceeds to help us get all of the paperwork done to get puppy enrolled for Puppy 101. I left feeling shocked and a little guilty about how much time she spent with us, but we were also very excited for class to start.

Keaton called me a few days before class started to make sure we were ready and had everything we needed.

The classes were a lot of fun. They start off every puppy class with about a 10 minuet puppy play session. As far as my puppy is concerned, this portion could have been the entire class and been absolutely worth it. Then we usually did 2 obedience commands and 1 undesired behavior per class. These were fine and fairly straight-forward. Keaton taught most of the classes- he is obviously very experienced with dog training and would give me lots of pointers and extra advice on engaging with my dog. They let Emily do a few of the classes with us, and honestly I feel like she did an amazing job at connecting with both the owners and the pups. We really enjoyed the lessons that she did.

During the classes they would occasionally make some product suggestions, but it was never pushy. Of our entire class, I think we were the only ones who bought into their suggestions, but I also think I took every single one that they made. They were all excellent suggestions and I love everything we picked up. The food they suggest is fantastic for training. The beds that they use are top quality (and we ended up getting two of them).

My pup passed his STAR puppy exam with flying colors, and we had a great time going through the classes to get there. With their location and proximity to our vet, they feel like more than just a dog training facility but more like a staple in our community.

I can’t recommend Keaton enough! My dog, Pedro Potato, who struggles with fear reactivity, has made incredible progress under his guidance. From day one, Keaton has gone above and beyond, demonstrating not only deep expertise but also immense patience and kindness. He has a remarkable ability to break down the training techniques into simple, manageable steps, making the process less overwhelming for both me and Pedro.

Keaton adjusts sessions to meet Pedro’s needs and he is always available for guidance, offering additional support. Thanks to his compassionate approach, my dog’s confidence has grown significantly, and I feel more empowered as a pet owner.

I had a fantastic experience with Precision Dog Training! From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. The training itself was top-notch—my dog made amazing progress and the techniques used were both effective and easy to follow at home.

We adopted Scarlett in October, and were surprised to find out she was dog reactive on the leash, and reactive with other dogs. After doing some research on local dog training we ultimately decided to go to Precision. So far we are beyond pleased with the results! Emily is very knowledgeable and did a great job at educating us throughout the 3-week board and train program. Scarlett’s dog reactivity has decreased significantly and we are starting to reintegrate her with my moms dogs (which was our biggest goal with dog training because she was struggling with some reactive behavior towards them). She is much more well mannered and we have enjoyed getting to continue her training at home. Attached is a picture of her walking with my moms dogs, a HUGE milestone for her.

We just finished our training with Precision Dog Training Academy. To say we had the best experience is an understatement. Everyone was so knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Our English Bulldog Daisy recently developed leash aggression due to a recent move. Emily was our trainer, absolutely amazing! Daisy has become a different dog, more confident and her normal self, she loved her lessons and loved Emily. We are forever grateful. Highly recommend.
