This vet is by far the best. They saved one of dogs life when she got attacked by a dog and we have trusted them with the rest of our pack. Recently my dog was going through seizures and they squeezed him in, did blood work and the vet was so kind and explained everything in detail. He gave us recommendations and got my dog all the help he needed. Then the staff was kind enough to make time to clip my dogs nails. It was just an extraordinary and wonderful experience. I’ll be a client for life.

THEY KILLED MY PERFECTLY HEALTHY DOG!! Hafeez to be specific. This happened a few years ago now but I was just too distraught to say anything yet & my man was in the process of getting legal justice. Of course they chose to settle in court because they didn’t want this to go public. They are incompetent and not as qualified as they lead you to believe. We came here for a routine C-section, which I now know you’re not supposed to do without testing their progesterone levels first (he wasn’t educated to know this) When she came out of surgery she was so out of it and couldn’t walk by herself, we learned from a more qualified vet that when a dog is getting this procedure they should only be put under general anesthesia so they don’t completely go under. As well as when a dog goes completely under anesthesia, they should be closely watched for at least an hour or so after to make sure they are waking up okay and not having any aversions to the medicine. But they gave her to us straight out of surgery. When I brought her in the car I noticed her stitches looked terrible and were bleeding (this is unheard of, they don’t even know how to stitch properly) so we brought her back in to get that fixed. We then brought her home, she went to her bed to get some rest. She was being watched. I left to head to school and then my bf calls me shortly after telling me she was dead. When he went to pet her he noticed she was cold and not moving, so he rushed her back to this vet. He begs them to bring her back, they tell us there’s nothing they can do. We were so confused on how this could happen. I asked them what went wrong and if this was a normal thing to happen and they were speechless, all they could say was it looked like her heart stopped because she was a blueish color. My dog was very healthy, she was health and genetic tested. They tried to blame it on us not doing pre anesthesia blood work, but if you are a qualified veterinarian who does these procedures, uses anesthesia and works on all different kinds of dogs all the time then you should know what you’re doing and this should never happen no matter what type of testing was or wasn’t done. You should know how much anesthesia to give a dog, my dog had no pre existing conditions and there was no reason why she would have reacted badly to anesthesia. We unfortunately didn’t get her an autopsy which I very much regret. But we do believe as well as other veterinarians that they gave her too much anesthesia. That’s the only reason why her heart would just stop like that. It was completely their fault, and if they would’ve kept her there for a while after her surgery like they were supposed to maybe she could’ve been saved. I also want to add in how heartless and cruel the staff that works there is. I was so upset almost hyperventilating & they had the nerve to come in and ask me to stop being so loud because there were other guests. I couldn’t believe it. I wasn’t yelling or anything I was crying my eyes out. It’s one thing for your dog to die from old age or a disease, but for it to happen when it wasn’t supposed to unexpectedly and tragically then my feelings should’ve been understood. They also lied on me and said that I threatened their staff. Which I didn’t. Come to find out they made that up so they had an excuse not to service us anymore. So now we had a dead mom dog and puppies that weren’t getting the nutrients they needed.. and they refused us care for our puppies that continued to die off & no other vet would take us since there aren’t many vets in the area that do reproductive services. A pathetic, uneducated, cruel, incompetent veterinary office. It’s clear all they care about is money, not about the animals and not about their guests. Hafeez never even had to decency to talk to us about what happened or apologize for his wrongdoing. Absolutely no accountability. Mocha meant everything to me, I still cry about her all the time and it will affect me for the rest of my life. I will tell my story and inform people not to go here for as long as I live.

I would never bring my pets here after all of the disgusting negligent stories I have heard about this vet. The way they speak to some of the clients is disgusting. I would never trust a vet who has been sued and settled in court about a dog dying in their care/due to their fault. You can look it up on the Lake County Circuit Clerk and see that there was indeed a lawsuit. One of my friends had to beg for a urine test for their cat and had to visit this vet three times in one week to finally get a urine test after their cat eventually had BLOODY urine. Another person I know was told to keep their cat away from windows after expressing their concern for their coughing/asthmatic cat. That's your solution? There are far better vets in the area, please do your research and read reviews before trusting vets. This place has too many nasty reviews to ever be trusted.

Staff is very kind and helpful with my pets and they explain bills and have all the answers to the questions I’ve had. I like to go when it’s not too busy. Prices are fair and reasonable. The vet is very kind and welcoming. Attends the pets with care and handles them properly. Would recommend to everyone I know but the office is not taking new clients.
