I did my research before searching for my perfect rescue dog. The staff was kind and accepted my request to bring in my own unopened bag of dog treats to see who is food motivated and I left the rest of the bag as a donation for the pups. I met and rescued one of the best dogs of my life from this facility. They had him clearly photographed and a great description about his personality. I know it can be tedious but I truly appreciated the paperwork and questions making sure I'd be a good pet owner. I hope they were able to secure some more funding for an AC Unit! It was so warm in their facility but I know that's a hard thing to control when most of your funding goes to food and vet visits. I tell people where my rescue is from all the time because it was a good experience all around.

I have adopted two cats from SafeHaven. They quickly became beloved members of the family. Everyone at SafeHaven is incredibly helpful and their love for animals is very apparent. I decided to volunteer there as well which has also been a positive experience.

The staff are all super enthusiastic and caring towards the animals they have, which makes such a huge difference. Big thank you to Latham, Brooke, and the others we're forgetting for letting me visit a few times to hangout with my new friend!

Got our precious girls Echo (formally known as Dax) and Theia (formally known as Tj Maxx) here, they were adopted 2 months apart yet they're as thick as thieves. Never a dull day with these two. Thank you to the staff who were so incredibly nice and helped us!

I have been coming to SafeHaven for a few years now, and have never been disappointed! The staff are always very helpful and polite, and the kennels for the animals are always clean. I adopted a cat a few weeks ago and the adoption process was very quick and smooth. I could not be happier! <3 edit: i adopted a puppy from safehaven a little more than a week ago, he’s the sweetest boy! so happy with him, the adoption process was super smooth (again). would 100% adopt from here again.

CHRIS THE ED - SHE MAKES $103,000.....for that amount, is our community getting its money worth? ⬇️. Nope.

(NOTE: I have years of experience dealing with Safehaven. I have turned in many stray, and feral kittens/cats PAYING each time. I have volunteered and taken their animals into my home, i have donated months/hours of time and $1,000's of dollars by providing for them. Here is my assessment......)

**Chris the ED she gets paid $103,000.

**Chris has no accountability. (Send her complaint...she'll make sure the board gets it. Ooh ok Chris 😉. )

**Culture is of everyone covering everyone's bad behavior Esp. if its your superviser like Steph.

** Exposing your personal information for ANYONE who wants to gather round the front desk while your file is opened and critiqued. Yes. I sat there and watch as they all made comments....ect. ppl who who had nothing to do with why I was there, volunteers !!!

** Taking cats without waiting proper amount of time to find owners and adopting YOUR pet out to someone else. (Read other reviews)

Ppl -- there are other places, smaller places that haven't lost sight of loving animals and doing whats best for them. Places that actually HAVE integrity. PLEASE UTILIZE THEM AND DONATE TIME AND MONEY. THESE SMALLER PLACES ARE WORTHY OF YOUR HELP- SAFEHAVEN DEFINITELY NOT!! (They need a revamp of attitude, Ed, staff/volunteers, practices and training)

The staff and volunteers are always so friendly, and the animals are just so sweet. I really wish I could take them all home 😻

We've adopted multiple animals from here, and they're very professional and thorough with handling adoption and vet records.

My kids ask me constantly to go, just to cuddle. It's good for them and good for the animals to get that human socialization. Looking for an afternoon out? Can't go wrong here!
