This is a wonderful place to take my pets. Both vets are kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Between, my mom and I were have 4 pups and three cats. We keep them busy. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants the best care for their pets.

I can’t say enough good things about Schurag Animal Clinic. The entire staff supported our family through one of the most challenging times. A few days before, we said goodbye to our dog. My 16-year-old daughter brought her in while I was sleeping. She later told me she wanted to make sure nothing else could be done. The team at Schurag didn’t hesitate to see them, even without me there. They were honest, but so incredibly kind about it. I can only imagine what was going through Dr. Flinchbaugh's mind in that moment, having to tell a teenager there wasn’t any hope left. But he handled it with such compassion! His words helped give my daughter closure. The following Thursday morning, Dr. Ashford was on duty. Dr. Ashford, before this encounter, surgically treated an infection in our Cane Corso that another veterinarian kept misdiagnosing. We credit Dr. Ashford with saving her life. So I already knew how capable and dedicated she was. But the morning we put our daughter's dog to rest. She again stepped up during another difficult time. That meant the world. We’ve trusted them with all our pets, but this time, they took care of us, too.

Highly would not recommend. I brought in a Guinea pig February 12th, with symptoms of a respiratory infection. To start with, my co worker found this poor thing running along her drive way before the freeze in mid January. So of course the vet to start with started bashing us on what to do. She was very hateful instead of being understanding or patient and explaining what we could be doing to care for her. They swabbed her ears, said she didn’t have any bugs, and then gave her a shot, and sent antibiotics home. As I was given the medication I was told to give it to her once a day, but they had it on the bottle, as every 12 hours. That was it, there was no taking her back, examining her, x-rays, etc. None of that was even at least offered to be done. Fast forward a few weeks after she’s been taking the antibiotics, she appears better and is eating. Last Tuesday the 1st, she started doing bad again so I called them, they just did a refill and said well if she still isn’t okay afterwards then bring her in next time. This Tuesday April 8th she was still not well and I brought her to a different vet, who ran x rays, and gave her oxygen. They told us she had pneumonia, and GI issues, and it there was still a good chance of loosing her. Yesterday around 3pm she unfortunately lost that fight. I’m so heartbroken, if I was told the correct information to start with, and if they had actually cared to do a check on her. Not only being sick but she was DUMPED! They are so freaking heartless, with a very poor attitude the second you walk in the door. To make it worse my grandmother used them for years for Guinea pigs.. never had issues, and she’s been gone April 22nd for 17 years. Just sad seeing the care for animals drastically decline. Please seek other veterinary options before making this one your choice. It just might save your fur baby.

Our dog have received high quality and loving vet care at this clinic. Both vets are compassionate, extremely skilled, and knowledgeable. We have taken our pets here for multiple surgeries and routine care. Five stars 🌟

I've been using Schrag Animal Clinic for years and they always take excellent care of my fur babies. They are friendly and always willing to answer any questions I have about treatment plans and other services. I appreciate all they do and recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.

We visited Schrag for our kitten Jynx recently. Unfortunately, our kitten was unable to be saved and we had to choose to have her put down. But, despite it all, the staff at Schrag were incredibly kind and willing to work with whatever finances were available. And, most importantly, they were completely honest with us each step of the way. We've dealt with this before at another vet, and they strung us along to get as much money as they possibly could from us. Schrag's staff regularly mentioned how certain treatments could be done but might ultimately be fruitless as following treatments could or would cost even more. They were very helpful every step of the way

Not happy, not happy at all.......Ive spent a small fortune on my girl, I dont mind.
What I do mind is finding out they are not as good as I had thought and cost my girl her eyesight. She should have started on the amount of insulin.......they waisted 3 months to work up to.
I wonder if its because every office visit cost you another 400 bucks
