AVOID IF YOU HAVE A DOUBLE-COATED DOG - I've gone to SOCO pet lounge for a few years for my Sheltie. However today I brought her in for her usual clean and tidy, and told the groomer I wanted her feet done and a sanitary cut. When I picked her up, her hair was bluntly cut all over (especially on her back, legs and butt) and her gorgeous Sheltie pantaloons are gone. I'm extremely sad. Regardless if the groomer rushed through her groom session or didn't use the proper techniques for double-coated dog, I don't know when the fur will grow back, but it looks like the undercoat was cut. If you look at the last two pictures, you can see how unevenly her butt was cut. It's going to take several months, at least, to grow back to the old length, and will most likely be a coarser texture 🙁

Was a regular customer until recently, even after a second appointment that was supposed to remedy the awful groom I paid $100 for, he was still not up to SOCO’s usual standards. A cyst on my dogs back popped but apparently that meant they couldn’t cut his feet, gave a rough body cut (which was uneven), and at the second appointment didn’t wash my dog, only cut his feet.

Pricing here changes often, fluctuating between $20-50 difference every time I’ve gone in. Disappointed to say the least, I really enjoyed coming here.

They take good care of my toy poodle. I like that they schedule your appointment and you’re able to pick your dog up within 2 1/2-three hours of that time. My dog is getting older now and I don’t like places where you drop off in the morning and then they stay in a kennel all day until late afternoon. Less stress for my pup overall. And just look at her! All nice and floofy

I Tried the place for the first and last time, discovered that they aren’t reliable. They never called to let us know my dog was ready, after 4 hours I decided to go check and he was ready. When I dropped him off they said a price, when I got him they charged another price. When I got home I realized the price wasn’t right and called them, the person on the phone couldn’t tell me why they charged me the extra $19 dollars, and kept saying they charged only $7 dollars more, but I had a receipt so that’s was a lie. At the end they didn’t even bother to give me a refund.

Very happy with this place. First time boarding our dogs and I was so nervous since it’s been years of staying home with them. When we picked them up, they told us how much they loved our pups and some funny stories about them. The girls at the desk were so friendly and one showed us pictures on her phone of our dogs. You can tell they love animals and working there. I know my dogs had a blast because they’ve been sleeping since yesterday.

It was our first time coming in for grooming and the staff were so friendly and kind! I showed them pictures of what I wanted for the haircut and they did a great job! 10/10 service and it was reasonably priced! We will definitely be coming back, my pup looks so pretty!

I couldn’t be happier that my dog has been able to stay here during the year my fiancée and I spent in Austin. And when we come back to visit for the weekend, we’ll check our girl in again.
She loves it here, and the level of care and attention SoCo Pet Lounge provides is outstanding!

Incredible service. The staff was very welcoming and kind. We forgot it was our dogs birthday but the SOCO Pet Lounge did not!! 10/10!!! We are always pleased with the grooming services.
