Great doctors. Staff will ignore you no matter what, especially when you need them. My appointment was canceled last minute. In five days of constant calling, emailing, and using the Spruce app no one has gotten back to me. I am unable to get a refill on my medications. I have no idea when the situation will change. Do not use this service, especially if it would be problematic to abruptly be off your meds.

This is the kind of practice you hope people don't go to as their first experience with therapy or mental health services. The staff is pretty much unreachable and you're lucky if you can get the answering service to reach out on your behalf. You'd think their app/messaging system would make things easy and efficient, but they've claimed to be switching over to a "new system" for months now and use that as an excuse when they take too long to get back to you or fail to altogether. Even worse, and maybe because they're all independent, the practitioners themselves are constantly in and out the door, making it impossible to see any one person consistently. Because of this, I've seen at least 4 different practitioners in less than two years. The only thing they do efficiently is bill you. In fact, if you miss an appointment for some reason expect a $150 fee- and if you don't get any appointment, or it gets repeatedly cancelled due to providers becoming suddenly unavailable, don't hold your breath. I'm amazed they're actually replying to these reviews and asking people to call, seeing as they pretty much never pick up the phone.

This place is absolute trash. I have been a patient here for over four years and suddenly they cannot be reached. They billed me wrong, so I have called countless times and left countless messages. I have emailed and sent messages through their terrible portal. They are ignoring everything. STAY AWAY from these scammers

Edit: I don't know how to reply to the "response from the owner." But please don't be fooled-- these people are telling me to reach out in the exact same way that I have already reached out multiple times. They are liars and scammers

Do not recommend! I’ve had better customer service at target! Saw a therapist for a few months then she left for a better job. Saw an NP once a month for almost 2 years then I was passed off to another one. This new one is just there to renew my Rx. No actual medical care. She took a personal call during one of my appointments. Working on finding a new practice!!!

I love my therapist and my psychiatrist. SOHO made it so very easy to select. I was able to read their bios which included specialties.
And having everything online has been a life saver for me. I don’t have to worry about getting to/from my appointment. And the connection is excellent - never have I ever no been able to communicate with my provider.

I would not recommend this practice to anyone! It’s a money scam! Yes you get a therapist, however if you need medication, you then have to see someone else! Instead of this company no longer reaching out to me like I requested they insisted that I make a post! Well my therapist canceled my session because my FSA card was no longer valid. Instead of anyone reaching out to inform me of that, they just canceled my session. I called and immediately paid the measly $100 which was far greater than my mental health obviously!! Why didn’t my therapist mention anything during the visit? The insurance company was paying majority. They will never get my business. And I requested I hope they don’t contact me again!!!

I’ve been a patient with SohoMD for a year and a half now; messages are answered promptly using their secure messaging service and with courtesy and respect. Scheduling is easy and I genuinely enjoy working with my provider whose is abundantly helpful and kind each time we meet virtually.
