I brought Harrison to Wag at 3 mos. He was a puppy with a lot of energy and biting everything and everyone! Puppy Kindergarten was exactly the program Harrison needed and now he is a proud graduate! His trainers were nothing but kind, patient, always positive and extremely knowledgeable. Harrison also looks great with a nice shiny coat, and his nails trimmed. There is also a wonderful grooming service in the same building. His groomers do a great job and he smells so good! They absolutely love all their furry dog clients! Currently, Harrison is taking a Basics Skills Class at Wag on Saturdays. So far, he's having a great time! I definitely would recommend them, I'm glad I found them! Harrison and I thank you all!

UPDATE - Our dog, who has never had ticks and thank goodness has flea/tick treatment regularly, dropped two ticks on floor after he came home from this groomer…
Our Aussie was groomed today. This is the probably the worst grooming he has ever had.
First, they called us and asked us to come in an hour early but kept him for three hours. We checked on him two hours in and were told it would be 40 minutes to dry him. When we picked him up his fur was still very wet and his haircut is definitely not even. They cut his nails jagged and quite a few are bleeding. I now have to be concerned about infection.
We paid $125 for this very non-professional grooming.
I cannot recommend this groomer.

I have been taking my Ellie(teddy bear Sheltie) here after some bad experiences in Bangor &Brewer. Ellie has separation anxiety, the groomers at Something To Wag About have been working with Ellie to make grooming a better experience for her. They also gave us a list of things to do at home to help Ellie enjoy her grooms. I have recently lost two of my other dogs to porcupine attack, and when Ellie was in for her groom they were so patient and good to her as she's been through a lot. Today we brought our new puppy with Ellie and the staff were so patient with Loy as well. I honestly can't say enough good about these groomers. They really have been wonderful to my furry babies.

I set up an appointment really easily and got my English Bulldog in for a bath and nail trim on a short notice. She still smells all clean and she was really happy when I picked her up so I know they took care of her and gave her some lovin! Very affordable at 40.00 bucks. She even left with a cute little bandana.

Our 60 lb Goldendoodle has been groomed by Something to Wag About 2x this summer. We’re so thankful for the groomers as they try to meet our wishes and keep Mac happy with the relatively short time he’s there. Honestly, Mac seems to love pedicures and hair stylists almost as much as his human mother/sisters- his groomer today said he constantly wagged his tail! This is a place we want to bring our dogs as long as possible!!! Thank you!! We’ll see you next summer and hopefully before.

Well this is annoying. Booked grooming and day care and then was met at the door by Margaret with a long explanation of why they can’t take our dogs today and the ‘person I booked it with is no longer there’ and admonishing me because they‘tried to call me twice’. When you call them nobody picks up the freaking phone!! This place is bad chaotic and my corgi was nerved up. Bad vibes!!

I am so happy I found Something To Wag About! My pupster hates getting his nails trimmed, and I couldn’t find a groomer who would do it. I found Wag About, and was in and out in fewer than 15 minutes. it was a breeze! Thanks!! DQ

I can not say enough about the no fear dog training program Something To Wag About offers.
We have an 8 month old Australian Labradoodle who just completed an intense one month program.
First of all the facilities are spotless. They include inside and outside training sessions.
Second but most important are the trainers! Margaret and Giselle are professionals! Yet kind, friendly and so loving. My puppy would pull on her lease to get to the door and start her day.
Each afternoon during pick up the ladies would let us know how she did that day and what to reenforce. The training included transfer sessions to teach us how to continue the training at home.
Our doggie is our baby. The child we never had. So yes, we’re high maintenance. But all our needs were met and in fact they exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Something to Wag About for day care and training.
