Friendly and helpful staff! I emailed this clinic on a Friday afternoon requesting dog day boarding for the following Wednesday and Thursday. Our dog, June, had never been to this clinic. I completed online all the information about our dog. Spicewood Springs Animal Hospital contacted June's regular veterinarian, who no longer offers pet boarding for June's medical records. June was approved for day boarding in less than one hour. I highly recommend Spicewood Springs Animal Hospital. I would definitely board June there again.

Best experience from caring professionals who are truly local. So many practices are being bought out by corporations, I love supporting this award-winning, top veterinarian! Dr. Barak Benaryeh owns this stellar practice, and I always feel that his advice is pitch perfect. My animals agree!

Very nice and professional staff. I was able to get in the same day to have my dog evaluated even though I was a new customer. Reasonable rates and all procedures were explained to me. They took great care to be gentle with my little Yorkie.

This is the best vet in Austin. They can be hard to get in with but there is good reason: they are the best. The front desk staff is thoughtful and detailed oriented. The doctors are caring and attentive. They know my pet’s when they see them.
You can do curbside drop off or go in with your pet. They even have overnight pet sitting services.

They got so big they made a separate cat hospital!

This is where you go to know you and your pet will be cared for.

I searched for someone who would board our diabetic poodle mix & do the insulin etc. We found SSAH and cannot recommend them enough.

Our dog (Pickles) is a good boy but doesn’t like boarding that much. He didn’t want to eat which is generally OK but impacts his insulin injections. The entire staff at SSAH handled his situation well. Top notch communication with us while we were out of town combined with a team of veterinarians and staff convinced us we made the right choice.

I wish we would have found them earlier but am glad we know about SSAH now.

The staff at Spicewood Springs Animal Hospital is always friendly and understanding. They’ve always been able to work me in for an emergency when my other vet clinic is booked up. They’ve always are realistic about treatment options and understand when a client needs to be fiscally responsible. I’m officially making the change to them for my regular vet visits.
