Absolutely recommend this place! We take our dogs and cats here now after not being happy at our previous vet. They have separate waiting rooms for the cats and dogs to make sure the cats are comfortable and they take the time to make sure you are cared for. There was never a moment where we felt rushed out and all the staff is knowledgeable and great with animals🫶

Dr. Mitchel and staff are the guardians that look over our loved ones. Would not go anywhere else. 9 years strong, St. John AH is #1 and we appreciate them for all that they've done!

I can't recommend St. John Animal Clinic enough. Their veterinarians & staff are true animal lovers, always treating my pets like their own and providing exceptional care. My husband & I recently had to say goodbye to our senior dog, and they went above and beyond showing so much compassion to us and our sweet dog during that incredibly hard time. Their kindness and expertise sets them apart from the rest.

I booked an appointment at this clinic to learn more about acupuncture services as a supplement to my dog's veterinary care. We see a veterinarian in Westville who is an expert in treating lameness and arthritis in small and large animals. As others have noted, you must pay a non-refundable $100 exam fee. (My vet charges $30.) I received little information about their acupuncture services at our appointment, though I received a follow-up call a few weeks after the appointment. What really turned me off was the hard sell on osteoarthritis supplements for my dog. The veterinarian did not provide much information - does science back up these supplements? What's the research? I told her I was happy with existing supplements and treatments, including Adequan and Spryng injections and Dasuquin. She was also pushing Librela, which has been in the news recently due to pet owners reporting adverse events in dogs to the FDA. Shortly after my visit, I received a phone call from the supplement company trying to sell me their products. I also am receiving marketing materials in the mail.
When I called today to voice my displeasure, the staffer seemed baffled about how I got on this list. She said most clients would be happy to get this type of information (paraphrasing her comment). In addition, I understand the clinic is certified fear-free, but my dog was beyond frightened just walking in the door. The floor was wet and slippery from being recently mopped. I had to kneel on a wet rug to calm him down, and no one offered help. The exam room we were taken to wasn't much better. It felt quite dated and wasn't comfortable for him. I won't be bringing him back to this clinic.

This place is the absolute BEST! My baby was limping and they got me in same day!! Met Jae today! She is super awesome and my pup, Bear, felt so comfortable with her! I truly hope she becomes a veterinarian! It is definitely her calling! Both Jae and the doctor were amazing and even got on the floor to do a physical exam!

Prices are fair and the staff was patient, caring and VERY knowledgeable! Happy to say we found our new veterinarian for all our furbabies! Big Thank you to Saint John Animal Clinic ❤️🥰😘 Bear🐻 is better already❤️

SJAC went so above and beyond for our family. We came in as new patients with an emergency, they squeezed us in later that day and did everything possible to help our pup! Im so thankful for them!
