Willow just had her first visit at Tails today and
I'm so happy with how it went! I was so nervous
because she's skittish around other dogs and
some people so she's not super social but they
were wonderful with her. 1 loved watching her on the webcams! They're planning on creating a
Pet Success Plan for her so we can hopefully
make her more confident and social. I'm so
excited to see how much better she does with
repeat visits and some special attention!

Tails has allowed my Chocolate lab “Nani” to socialize with others providing caring staff to help her grow. We are grateful for the webcams that allow me to periodically check on Nani throughout the day to observe her activity. The piece of mind knowing she is in a safe environment. I place my trust in the staff at Tails to care for a part of my family that we treat as our own child now that our children have grown and moved away. I did have an incident which Nani ingested possibly a rubber piece which Tails helped to monitor her during that period to ensure if her poop contained additional pieces since she was not eating. I know that “Nani” could get into mischief and also becomes snippy considering she is a rescue that has experienced Trauma. However, Tails monitors and reports her day. Nani comes home exhausted
from a full day of playing and when we reach the store. she is wagging her tail and not putting on the brakes as we enter. We attended the 2024 Pet Fair in Mililani and I was hesitant about bringing her out in the public with other dogs and their owners. Nani allowed people to pet her and she was wagging her Tail the entire time. Thank You Tails!

I had to move myself, 3 dogs, and 2 cats from Hawaii to two separate cities in Ohio and I was such a wreck. My pets are my family! I almost went with another company but they had poor communication and kept sending the wrong itineraries which gave me such anxiety. I reached out to Happy Tails and they were super quick to get back to me and got the different itineraries right the first time and really did their best to put my worries to rest. They came to pick my pets up from my house and didn’t even bat an eye at how much I was crying saying goodbye to them. Needless to say, all my pets landed safely at their correct destinations and I am so thankful for all their help! They sent me updates and pictures of everyone during their pre-flight boarding stay. They paid attention to all the small details I sent about all my pets different quirks. I highly recommend using Happy Tails if you have to move your pets. They really made something that was so stressful and seemed so complicated to orchestrate with 5 different pets and 2 different locations so seamless. 10/10!!

I was very nervous to leave my kitty for 3 weeks at a boarding facility since it was going to be his first time being away from me for that long & he’s not super socialized (he only knows myself & my dog). Let me start by saying The on boarding process was very easy & fast. Tails of Hawaii also is priced really well (I did my research of boarding facilities before booking). & it was super convenient because the facility is 5 minutes away from my home. Upon drop off, I noticed it was very clean & well kept, the staff was very friendly & reassuring. Through out my kitty’s stay the staff sent me pictures, updates, & health updates during the entire time. It looked like my kitty had a great time socializing with other people & did well in his new environment. Tails of Hawaii really gave me peace of mind knowing my kitty was being well looked after & because of that I was able to enjoy my vacation. I will definitely be back for any more future boarding needs & recommend them

Finally a place that doesn't not wreak when I walk in. I have tried several different boarding places and have been thoroughly disappointed. This is the only place that I've found that smells normal when you walk in (not like pee and poo) and has stuff for you to purchase right upon walking in. They even have a little cafe area where you can drink free coffee and watch your dogs on the big screen tv. They also have someone on site 24 hours a day. Dogs eat and sleep separately, and have fun and play together inside and outside (like it should be)! Some of the places I tried prior did not even have an outdoor area... Finally a place with the vibe, safety, and communication I have been looking for. I also appreciate that I did not see workers on their personal phones or blasting music that is not calming for dogs. Literally this place checked almost every box off. The only change I would make is for them to have a full time receptionist that is there solely for checking all pets in and out and double checking if there are any needs from anyone in the cafe, just so no one is away from the phone and front counter for more than a moment. Other than that, pure perfection here. I look forward to getting my dog groomed there too! We will certainly use day care, grooming, and when needed- boarding services there too! My dog was very happy there ❤️ thank you all for actually having a proper place set up for dogs to safely stay and play.

I wish I could give even better review! Tails of Hawaii has amazing customer service! They really assisted us with getting our dog bathed, relaxed, and boarded in preparation for our move. They allowed us to feel comfortable with being off island before our dog was able to travel. If we move back to island, we will be using Tails of Hawaii again!

Adobo loves going to Tails for playcare & boarding (although he misses us😩). When he sees the staff, he wiggles his little stub! Everyone knows The Big Guy. When I need to communicate with the staff, I text them and get a prompt reply. Adobo comes home clean after playing all day. I really like that I can check on him throughout the day via their webcam 👍 that’s very important for me.

Tails took great care of my three girls during a two week vacation boarding. We received text updates every other day w/pictures and all received a bath before pick up. I especially like the webcam access that allows to look in on them. Great job, outstanding people. Highly recommended!
