We're really happy with Taurus South Lamar!

Firstly, the staff are all great. Very professional and clearly genuinely care about our dog!

Additionally, the rates are really reasonable and the ease of interacting with the facility, from booking, to drop off, to pick up, is super easy.

Finally, the add on services "while they're there" are great, specifically the GROOM! We're stoked at the quality, convenience, and price of the groom!

A+ would recommend.

I took my dog to Taurus Academy for day training. Wilbur was very anxious. He would jump on people and was a puller on walks. Casey did an amazing job with Wilbur. He is like a different dog. I'm very pleased with his training. Highly recommend!!

I cannot say enough good things about Taurus Academy and the whole team, especially at the Lamar location. My pup absolutely LOVES her time at Taurus. She gets so excited when we pull up and she almost jumps out of her collar trying to get to her friends there.

The team is friendly, gracious, and so caring.

Taurus is really just the best in Austin for boarding, daycare, and training. 10/10

I have been entrusting Taurus with my puppy - now 14 months - since he was 5 months old. He goes in 2 -3 times a week. All the staff have been uniformly helpful, warm, and attentive to details. I have also boarded him several times now - once for as long as two weeks, and they have sent me updates and photos and detailed descriptions of how he eats and how he does in play or enrichment times. Their training is also super helpful. They are all so kind - I can't thank them enough. The most telling thing: my dog always wants to run into Taurus!

I just want to say Taurus Academy is amazing. Casey, Joe, Rachael and every single staff member helped my dog so much. We got our Dalmatian a year ago and he was a year old. When we first got him he was terrified of everything, afraid of men, wouldn’t listen, had aggression in certain areas, amongst other issues. Casey helped us so much with Pongo and helped him tremendously and helped and educated us as well. We would have been lost without her. Taurus academy and every single staff member helped Pongo feel like he was safe and loved and helped him become the dog he is today and we couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who was there for him.

This was my first time boarding with Taurus on Lamar and I was blown away with the experience. I used to take my baby to another local boarding facility and was referred to try Taurus by a friend. One thing that is really important for me is to be able to see my baby while I am away. I booked some 1:1 cuddle time for my pup and received daily report cards and photo updates!! Not every place will do that for boarding stays and I really appreciate that.

Additionally the staff is so nice and helpful. They really made me feel at ease leaving my boy at Taurus.

My dogs come here 4 times a week (because they’re wildly spoiled!) and they are always excited to go! The staff is very friendly and know my dogs almost too well! I’ve boarded them numerous times and they’re always well taken care of. I recommend Taurus Academy to all my clients who come in with new puppies or dogs who just need some stimulation and socialization!
