We have had a wonderful experience with TC&M training! We were at an extremely difficult place and needed a dramatic change for our family and dog. Courtney gave us confidence and tools to help us manage the behaviors that we wanted and didn't want for our dog. After weekly visits over a few months, we are able to thrive with our dog. Tender Care and More did an excellent job training my golden retriever Shania. Shania came home a different dog. Very well behaved and sits, lays, stays, heals and more

Tender Care and More Training was recommended to me by my sister. I signed up our three-year-old Lab for a four-week board and train program even though we live nearly 500 miles away. We are so very happy with the results. Courtney is brilliant when it comes to dogs. She is a gentle trainer who understands how to set dogs up for success. She sent frequent videos of exercises/brain games with our dog. These helped us as owners see the progress and notice her method truly is gentle. I wish every trainer could take a course from Courtney—even the way she corrects a dog is kind. We learned a ton as she set us as owners up for success, too. Our only regret is that we didn’t send our Lab to her sooner. The tools she taught us to deal with his anxiety are invaluable. We are so appreciative.

TC&M was recommended to me by a family friend, and it was absolutely GAME CHANGING. My dog is reactive, and Courtney worked so hard with her to give her the skills and confidence she needed to be around other dogs. I can’t even describe how wonderful it was to watch her progress and how much my dog’s anxiety eased when she came home. When we picked her up, Courtney made sure to show my partner and I how to run each exercise that she did with my dog, some brain games, and other things to help put my dog’s mind at ease. Can’t express how life-changing this was—thank you, TC&M! ☺️

We left our puppy, Zelda, with Courtney for a 2 week board and train session and she learned so much!! She is a terrier with a high prey drive (and a short attention span), and I feel that Courtney really took her breed into consideration when teaching her the basics. Zelda is listening to us much better now, walking better on a leash, and is doing much better with distractions. Courtney even sent us daily pics and videos showing Zelda's progress, which really helped us get through those two weeks without her. At the end of the board and train session, Courtney made sure that we left with the knowledge to continue to work with Zelda on her training at home. She also offered lots of tips and tricks that Zelda is benefiting from daily. Highly recommend Tender Care & More Training!

Courtney is amazing. She really has a gift for working with dogs, and a heart of gold. Our Golden Retriever puppy, Lucy, has learned so much, and as importantly, we have learned even more. My wife came across Courtney through Facebook! We highly recommend her and the skills she brings to the table. She has a lot of patience not only for us dog owners, but for the fur babies as well. Truly amazing! Brought my dog Dipper for the 2 week program and it legitimately made such a huge difference. he was a good doggie going in but needed extra help with discipline, leash walking, distractions, and separation anxiety.
not only did he make huge improvements on those, he also has been much more alert and disciplined on all of his commands, even ones that Courtney didn't work directly with him on. he walks on my right side, right next to me instead of pulling ahead and not paying any attention to me. He stops and sits when i stop walking. He also does not get nearly as distracted when other people/cars/dogs walk by. even went to Petsmart and he stuck right by my side!
He is now able to stay at home alone without being anxious, barking, or destructive. (previously ripped up the carpet that needed to be replaced.

The part that I appreciated most about Courtney was how thoughtful and truly invested she is with the dogs. She sent pictures and videos throughout of his progress, sent me home with a packet of what they worked on every day and notes on his behavior and progress. when she isn't working with the dogs directly, they get a lot of time in the field playing with the other dogs and incorporates them into other dog's training, so they are still being involved throughout the day, instead of them just stuck in their run. Seriously impressive, could not recommend enough!
