I have had to wait a few months to post this as I am still extremely upset and heartbroken. We took our dog here for vaccines previously. He was around 9-10 when we got him and had a lump on his side, which we were told was no big deal and they didn't want to test it in case it caused trauma to the area. 2 years later, he began having a sore, raw bump grow on his front paw pad as well as limping on his back leg we took him back in. The vet glued his paw pad without cleaning it, wrapped it, and gave us some mild meds for his back hip. Two week follow up and the bump on his foot had grown and he was limping worse than before, again, wrapped it and sent us on our way. I went and got a second opinion and they ran some tests and everything came back cancerous, even the lump on his side that had been there when we got him 2 years prior and was told it was not worrisome. After our second opinion we got multiple medications for comfort. Less than a week later, we had to put our sweet boy down. I am beyond angry at terrebonne for never giving us the time of day when we brought our concerns to them, and trusted them when they said everything was fine. If we had known sooner, maybe we could have done something to help. I was shocked they glued his foot with no cleaning done, they hardly even looked at it. I will not take any of my pets back here. We really liked the vet techs and receptionists were always nice but I don't trust the vets opinion on my pets health.

Sadly we will NOT be back. In 40+ years of taking animals to the vet, I have NEVER had a vet clinic do work on my dog without prior authorization to the tune of almost $1,300. 😡
On Sunday, we woke up to our dog’s face swollen and painful. We asked around about who does emergency calls besides the two clinics in Bend we knew about and were told this place did. We called and sure enough, they would meet us in 45 minutes.
Showed up with my dog and the vet didn’t spend too much time looking after sedating him and told me he wanted to keep him overnight for observation. Didn’t make it very clear what to expect but said if he had to put him under to do surgery, it would be between $300-$400. Didn’t hear another word that entire day, even after trying to check in.
Called in the next morning (Monday). The vet was not in yet and the ladies had no clue what was going on. I asked to be called when he got in for an update. No call.
At noon, I went in with pizza for the ladies who had tried to help nursing some feral kittens we had found orphaned a couple of weeks prior and the staff still had no clue what to tell me. They said the doctor would be out of an appointment shortly and could fill me in.
So then I finally find out what had happened, went up to pay my bill and almost choked. Who TF thinks it’s ok to do almost $1300 worth of work on someone’s animals without ANY freaking communication. I am LIVID. What happens if you don’t have that $ just laying around? I am ALL for giving my pets the care they need, as we took them on, but the lack of communication and the lack of ANY approval from me is sickening. We will NEVER be back to this place. Too many amazing, well educated veterinarians in central OR to run your business in this way.

I am forever grateful to Dr. Rhen and the caring veterinarian technicians at Terrebonne Veterinary Clinic. My dog had an after hours emergency that required immediate treatment. Dr. Rhen called me within 5 minutes of calling the after hours number, explained the treatment options and was able to meet me within 20 minutes. My dog is not an easy dog to work with at the vets. Dr. Rhen didn’t even hesitate to provide care. The vet technicians worked with us to create the best treatment plan for my dog. They were so kind and patient with him, but also quick and efficient at providing treatment. Everyone there treated us like family. I was also pleasantly surprised when I got the bill, it was much lower than I had anticipated. On a side note, my house is now a raisin-free household. Pictures of Gussy living his best life!

We took our little Charlee (Biewer Yorkee) in due to vomiting blood. It was about 5 minutes before they closed. The staff was very accommodating and the Dr. was very friendly and was able to identify the problem- most likely stress from being at friends that had two big Rottweilers- and gave him a shot and some medicine for the road. He was better within hours. Great work! We made it over to DMB in the Gorge that weekend!

We always receive the best care from an attentive staff. This vet clinic got our Frenchie in on short notice for a sick visit and did a wonderful job later for his cryptorchid surgery. They also are very fair with their pricing.
Our little doggo feels so relieved not having a rogue testicle floating around inside threatening malignancy.

They were very kind. We brought our puppy in because he wasn’t feeling good (his brother had just passed away) and everybody was very kind and patient, they did their absolute best jobs.
They were as happy as us to see a negative parvo test and then ran more tests to see what was going on.
There were no sneaky charges, everything was discussed with me (and then repeated on the phone for my partner) before we went ahead with any of it.
They were also very helpful answering questions and concerns after hours.
They got our puppy feeling a whole lot better.
I cannot thank everybody at this clinic enough.
I am very inclined to switching over to them as my primary veterinarian clinic.

Love these guys! I take my dog and cat to them and have been for two years. They're quick, easy and never argue- they're happy to listen to your concerns. I was worried my dog may have a UTI and they were happy to check him over for me. Thanks for the hard work guys! I appreciate it.
