My dog probably loves The Acre more than he loves me! Its his favorite place to be. We never have to worry when we travel because we know he'll be well taken care of and have the time of his life!

Will always come here for forever! I cannot recommend this place enough! It changed our Karma’s life forever and we have recently been taking our girl of 4 months, Hazelnut, there for a couple months now. Best thing ever: her best friend, Goose, was Karma’s best friend too!! Talk about the sweetest closure.

We love The Acre!

Our Pepita has been going to The Acre regularly since September 2024, starting day care at 4 months old! Her time at The Acre has been invaluable; because of her time there she does incredibly well with other dogs, new people, in public spaces, and is such a friendly, joyful, playful dog. She is always SO HAPPY when we pull up to the gates for drop off - it’s like seeing a kid get all excited to go back to school to see their friends!

The staff have always been wonderful and very attentive. The app updates and picture feed is such a nice touch and it’s great to see Pepita having such a fun time while I’m at work. I trust in the staff fully to care for Pepita and look after her, they’ve truly been the best!

Would definitely recommend The Acre for day care and boarding needs!

I can’t say enough great things about Acre Dog Boarding! This is Tequila’s second time staying here, and she absolutely loves it! From the moment we arrive, the staff is so welcoming and attentive, and you can tell they truly care about the dogs. I get tons of photos and updates throughout her stay, showing her having a blast playing with her friends. It’s so nice to see her having such a good time! By the time we bring her home, she’s completely worn out and sleeps the whole way. I couldn’t be happier with the care Tequila gets here and will definitely be back! Highly recommend Acre Dog Boarding to anyone looking for a reliable and fun place for their pup!

The Acre has been an a godsend for us. We have a young weimaraner who is insanely full of energy and he loves going to the Acre. They send you photos throughout the day, which is such a nice feature. Barrett, Madalyn and Spencer are always so kind and accommodating to our needs.

If you have a dog who needs socialization and to get some energy out, this is the perfect place. Please see the results of the time spent
at The Acre in my photos.

We are so grateful for the Acre! Raymond, our energetic 2 year old sheepadooddle, absolutely loves going for both daycare and boarding. We have a young infant at home and they have been beyond helpful and flexible when we’ve needed last minute coverage for Raymond.

He always comes home tired and happy - and if we request it even bathed! Couldn’t recommend them more.

The Acre has been wonderful for daycare, training, and boarding. Our dog, Millie, is a very fearful dog who we adopted from the shelter. She was feral/a stray when we first adopted her, curently has stranger danger, especially with men, and is leash reactive. After a coupe of months, we wanted to find her a good place to romp and gain confidence with other dogs and were suggested the Acre by a friend at the dog park.

We called them and they listened intently as I explained her fears and behavioral needs before inviting us to try it out for a day. From the get-go the staff has been attentive and providing personalized genuine care for Millie. There is absolutely no question everyone there is trained in how to work with dogs and love the dogs there absolutely.

They listened to us closely about Millie's needs while also balancing their expertise and safety of other dogs with skill and experience. Whether that be letting her meet the human staff off-leash with a staff-owned dog, letting us know she wasn't ready for a big play group and instead doing training with her with their own dogs so she could still have fun and get her energy out, and even coming to our apartment through rush hour traffic to have a training session here so they could see the triggers and work with us on things to do at home, they always take the extra step for a dog. They have always cared and have taken extra attention towards helping Millie navigate the new world of being a pet and being in the human space. It pays off- Millie LOVES the Acre. Other dog daycares we had to lure her in for months initially with trails of treats and cajoling. At the Acre, after the first day, she excitedly greets all the staff (mostly male!) and trots right back. On the second day, we even got a picture of a man holding her and her being happy and relaxed. Until that moment only her dad and one other man had been able to touch her. That is HUGE for a fearful dog like her!

And, I cannot stress this enough, their attention to Millie has helped us immensely as well. Under their guidance and training of Millie and us (mostly us!), Millie has bloomed more than she ever would have been able to without them. We can always tell when she's been because her leashwalking, listening, and social skills improves leaps and bounds each time she goes. She has even grown to like men more, and her warm-up period to men and warnings to men have lessened. We even used to not be able to talk to any men in our living room or watch TV/video games/etc. with male voices. Now, we've been able to use our living room again for media with male voices and can even listen to male music in the car. You can tell they genuinely care for each pup, have ways to work with dogs and keep training them even past training packages with the goal to see them to succeed.

Besides the daycare, we also bought a training package with their certified trainer, Ian, and 1,000% recommend it. If we had the money for it we would do it every time we ran out of another package. Ian's guidance helped us communicate and bond so much more with Millie. We have seen HUGE improvements on leash reactivity and general apartment living stress. Her resource guarding is down so much and so is her over-reactivity. Her confidence has grown leaps and bounds and now when we drop something in the house she'll come investigate it instead of running and hiding. Her social skills and ability to take breaks during play sessions has improved drastically too, and she's made enough progress where she was able to safely move from the staff dog playgroup to the small group, and eventually now the large play group. Sincere thank you to the Acre, you've improved at least one pup and family's lives so much.
