My puppy Thor has been going here for 2 years now. He absolutely loves it! They take amazing care of him, and they are always super caring. He takes a while to warm up to people. They are always so patient with him to let him warm up on his own time. Plus, the photos they send at times. They are the best action shots. I really can't say enough how amazing this place is for dogs.

I’ve taken my dog a couple different places in the past and always felt kinda wary about leaving her, but with The Dog House Retreat I wasn’t worried at all! The staff is amazing and super easy to work with! Alisha sent me many pictures of my girl and kept me updated throughout the week. As you can tell by the photos, she has a blast and made many friends!! I highly recommend taking your dog to The Dog House Retreat the next time you need board your dog!!

I was super nervous taking my dog to be boarded for the first time. The dog house retreat is great! She sent me pictures of my dog bear and updated me about her while I was away. Bear had a blast and I will definitely be bringing her back!

We absolutely LOVE this place! Alisha does an amazing job. She sends periodic update photos of our dogs playing. Our pups are always excited to walk through her door. We never have to feel guilty for going on a trip since we know they're in good hands here!

The Dog House Retreat is the ABSOLUTE best!!! I had a lot of anxiety about initially kenneling my dogs and Alisha talked me through everything, sent me lots of pictures and now that I feel comfortable taking my dogs there anytime we go out of town and it’s like a mini vacation. I’m pretty confident most of the time they don’t even want to come home with me because they’re enjoying themselves so much. Their kennel they are kept in is comfy and spotless and the dogs are well loved 🙂

The Dog House Retreat is hands down the best kennel around! My dog loves going there and is completely exhausted when she gets home from all of the running and fun! Every time I ask her if she wants to go, she pees all over herself because she is so excited. 🤣 The owner truly loves what she does and you can really tell for her it’s a passion and not just a job. I love getting photos of how much fun my dog is having during her stay. There is just something about that place and we will never go anywhere else!! Our dog is treated like royalty and the princess that she is lol. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!!

Alisha and her staff are the best. In May, 2023, we took our 2 dogs to The Dog House Retreat. I was amazed to see the very large play area for the dogs. I was also happy to see they work with dogs playing Chuck-It, which happens to be our dogs' favorite game. They let the dogs outside multiple times a day.

Our one dog had a medical emergency while we were in the UK. Alisha went the extra mile of taking our dog to the vet, who did a great job. It took the edge off our worries.

We have taken our dogs to various kennels in the area. We just were not completely satisfied with any of them. I am convinced this is the best place to take our dogs. They even sent pictures to us while we were gone.

My dogs have never been kenneled and were finally boarded the first time at age 15 and 13. I was so nervous, but was so relieved once I realized I had nothing to worry about. Alisha & staff went out of their way to get to know my dogs, understand their background and make sure they were comfortable. The kennel is super clean and Alisha is so easy to work with with her scheduling, clear pricing and policies/procedures. We have since used her multiple times and will continue to do so! Thank you for offering a true retreat for dogs!
