We are so grateful for the love, care, training and support our Murphy received during his 21-day puppy jumpstart program, while at The Dog Wizard Twin Cities! Trainer Mica was fantastic to work with and kept us updated with Murphys progress with texts, videos, phone call check in, and pictures. Murphy came home with great manners and a strong foundation of socialization with other dogs, in public, obedience, and loose leash walking! Mica has been great checking in to see how Murphy has adjusted back at home and set up a home follow up visit to continue the training and support! We are excited to join in with the Saturday alumni group sessions to continue this great adventure! We would give The Dog Wizard 10 stars if allowed and highly recommend this program.

Where to even start - The folks at Dog Wizard Twin Cities are simply the best. I had an incredibly nervous dog I had rescued and I was really struggling to help her build confidence and learn how to even just walk on a leash. Their consultation process felt super easygoing - they meet with you, watch you and your dog interact, explain what they do, how they work, and what their options are. At no point did I really feel like they were trying to sell me on anything, they just wanted to help however worked best for us. I did a Day Training program with them and our primary trainer Mica was an absolute dream to work with. She would let me know the plan for what they'd work on, ask if there was any specific issues/concerns that needed addressing, and provided updates during the day. When I would pick my pup up, the trainers talked me through what we needed to work on at home, watched me work on what our 'homework' was, and corrected me on how best to do things. Mica and the other trainers helped to give my Dog and me so much more confidence. I cannot stress how fantastic they are to work with and if you are looking for help I would strongly recommend giving them a call.

When our dog was attacked a few times in 2021, he developed fear aggression towards other dogs. We found Dog Wizards, and in 7 weeks they were able to completely rebuild his trust in other dogs again and greatly improve his basic training. By the end of his time with them, he was promptly listening to commands, no longer afraid of other dogs, and had a much calmer demeanor in public.

So when our second dog was showing high anxiety and an aversion to people, we knew we had to return to train with Trevor at the Dog Wizards. She is currently half way through training and making great progress in building her confidence and her trust in people. Thank you, Trevor!

Emilee did a great job training our pup. We completed the 2 week obedience program. I love how The Dog Wizard comes out to your home to help transition the knowledge and training to home. We sent our Airedale puppy (7 months) for Boot Camp. The transformation was miraculous! He learned so many things: 1) place, 2) recall, 3) sit and stay, 4) heel walking, 5) and liking his crate. Mica also helped him with separation anxiety. She communicated with us with videos, pictures and text messages. Very good experience! Mica is very skilled!

We've had a really positive experience with The Dog Wizard! Our dog Mara has struggled with dog reactivity for a while. We had tried many types of classes (in person/virtual/group/private) but nothing seemed to help.
Her recent onset of people reactivity made us realize we needed more help.
We decided to try The Dog Wizard and Mara completed the 21 day jumpstart program with her trainer Emilee. She came back to us with improved obedience and loose leash walking, and we have learned how better to handle her "triggers".
Mara is in a much better spot than when she started the program. The Dog Wizard is committed to her success with their lifetime support and weekly group classes. We just attended our first graduate group class with many other dogs and Mara showed great progress.
