We’ve been bringing Ginger Wigglebutt, to the Watering Bowl for some time, and we can confidently say this is the best spot for dogs in St. Louis! The quality of care, the cleanliness of the location, and the overall atmosphere are unmatched.

Ginger absolutely adores coming here—she knows all the staff by name (well, as much as a dog can!) and wiggles her way straight to them. The front-end customer service is phenomenal, always welcoming and kind, and they have an incredible way of putting anxious dogs (and owners) at ease. It’s clear how much they care about every pet that walks through the door.

From the daycare to the boarding experience to the adorable Pawdecure we have always left feeling confident that Ginger is in the best hands.

Thank you for being such a reliable, clean, and caring place for our furry family member. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at Watering Bowl Dog Grove! Over the past five years, they have consistently provided exceptional care for our beloved Dalmatian, Charlie. From the very first day we boarded her, it was clear that the team is not only incredibly friendly but also highly knowledgeable about dog care and behavior.

Every time I drop Charlie off, I know she is in safe hands, and it brings me such peace of mind. The environment is always welcoming, and it's evident that the staff genuinely cares for each dog like their own. Charlie always comes home happy and well-exercised, and I can’t thank them enough for that!

It's also great to see that they go above and beyond to accommodate all types of weather, ensuring our furry friends are still getting their playtime and socialization.

The first thing you know is that the front lot is a one way parking lane.
If you’re heading East from Hampton, it’s the first driveway.
If you’re heading West from Kingshighway, it’s the 2nd driveway.

The facility is clean.
The staff is helpful.
The dogs are happy.

If you leave your dog for daycare, the staff members give you a brief summary of their day. They also have a montage video where you can look for your pup.

I’ve been bringing Mateo to The Watering Bowl for boarding since he was a puppy, and it has become his second home and family. The staff here has always been incredibly loving and attentive, making sure he’s happy and comfortable every time he stays. We’ve also worked with their trainer, Laura, and it’s been amazing seeing his confidence and happiness levels grow since starting daycare.
Beyond the care they provide for Mateo, the staff has also become an extension of my own family. I’ve built friendships with them, and it’s clear that they care not only about Mateo but about me as well. I have complete peace of mind when I leave him here, knowing he’s in the best hands with people who truly understand and love him. I highly recommend The Watering Bowl to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and supportive environment for their pup!

I started taking my girl, Indy, to The Watering Bowl Dog Grove almost a year ago. I wanted to get her more socialized, both with dogs and new people. We started with the Stay and Train package. It worked wonders on my anxious, anti-social girl. We then migrated to daycare + extra credit. Those extra credit opportunities have helped keep up in the training she did. She is thriving! Has a new best friend almost every time she’s at daycare. I can’t recommend this place enough! The staff care so much about the dogs and Indy always comes home happy and exhausted.

We decided to take out first will long vacation together in several years and decided it would be in our best interest to board our dogs. With so many options we called several places vetoed a free and had a sniff around the watering bowl on Hanley. Everything went great besides some anxiety which was to be expected since we had not personally sent either of our dogs to a facility for boarding or daycare before. The staff was very friendly and out our worries at ease. A few days before our trip we received a call that their location flooded from the rain we had but dog grove offered to still honor our reservation. The staff at dog grove were amazing from start to finish, helped correct issues that our two high energy puppy have returned two better mannered babies to us. Zelda and Clark are cherished by our family and they took amazing care of them, did a little training with Zelda to teach her to respect boundaries and gave us reports and updates as needed making the only thing we were stressed about very stress free. We appreciate all the staff members and well recommend and use again.

We took Willow here for daycare for well over 4 years and loved every day of it! The Watering Bowl has the BEST staff and a great facility! I am one of those pet parents is very wary and anxious of who cares for my dogs, and I can say that I never worried about Willow and her well being while she was there.

We also did some training with their trainer at the Dog Grove location, and she was incredible! We learned so much from her and it helped Willow learn her "manners."

I will recommend the Watering Bowl every single time to everyone I know. We will absolutely miss the heck out of the staff there and Willow sends virtual kisses to everyone! <3
