Only had 2 interactions here. First time was April 2024 and February 2024. Both times to euthanize my dogs. They treated them with the utmost dignity. I no longer have pets so I won't be returning

We were made to wait an 45 minutes in the car after I called and asked if they could check our dog's leg because I thought she broke it. I had 2 call 2x while we were in the parking lot asking for them to help me get her out of the car, because she was in pain and she weighs 70lbs. They said they would come out when they had a room. When a staff member came out, she didn't help carry my get my dog or carry her in. They were so rude and said they broke protocol because I did not have an appointment but they put us in a room. I explained I didn't know my dog was going to break her leg. This was also around 4pm. The office manager told me I could have just taken my dog to the emwrgency vet in tallahassee, but i would still have been made to wait for an hour or longer. When I asked why no one helped me get my dog out if the car , she said I didnt tell them that i needed a stretcher. There was one person in the waiting room, everyone else had left. I didn't leave the vet until after 6 because they continued to make us wait even after putting us in a room. My dog's legs was broken. The plastic splint they put in was cut too long and and started rubbing a blister on my dogs foot, so she started chewing on it. I took my dog back TAH, they cut it shorter but did not bandage under the sore part or move the splint up higher. They charged me again to fix this. The splint continued to cause discomfort and then my dogs foot started swelling because they wrapped it too tight. Needless to say we haven't been back. They never followed up to see why I didn't bring my dog back in for a check up with them. Also, our dog had been a patient with TAH since before she was born, because the breeder used them.

I’ve been very satisfied with my experiences at TAH. They all live animals, and it’s so apparent. Two ladies who worked there even adopted / of my kittens. Personable, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

We have been going here for 10 years now with our 3rd k9, who was hit by a car and needed surgery. They have really been good to us, and compared to other vets, they are very respectful, and the price is better than most.
