I love this practice. We bring both of our dogs there including the newer one that is a rescue. Village Animal are very nice to the dogs and very capable. I also like the fact that they are up front about any charge and while they recommend the appropriate plan- they don’t push things or overcharge as some vets do. Honest and good care.

My family cannot speak highly enough about the love and care we received at Village Animal Clinic during a recent emergency situation. Our dog faced an unexpected medical crisis, and at one point, we faced the terrible choice of going to an emergency vet on a Friday night for a $10k+ surgery or euthanizing our dog. As an alternative, Dr. Peck, along with techs Jamie K. and Melissa, offered to stay after hours to perform an emergency surgery at reduced cost to attempt to save our dog's life. They were so gracious, loving, and kind to our dog and to us. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the situation, we had to euthanize our dog a week later. But the surgery bought us a few precious days, which allowed our family to care for our dog and say a proper goodbye. Those days were a tremendous gift, especially to our children. Throughout the entire ordeal and in the time after, the care and concern we received from everyone at Village was tangible and meaningful. It is a place full of love, and we won't hesitate to bring our next pet there when the time comes.

Village Animal Clinic in Carol Stream is fantastic. My dog got into a scuffle with a raccoon and his usual vet is in the city. Wanted to take him somewhere closer to home to get checked out asap and VAC was super flexible about us coming in as new patients. The facilities are very clean, wide spread and great for skittish pets like mine. I was worried because my dog really dislikes going to the vet and can get aggressive but the vet tech and the vet were both super kind and patient and my dog never lost his temper, which is nothing short of a miracle. Thinking about transferring vets to VAC altogether, very happy with our care. Also appreciated the transparent price sheets VAC had pinned across the clinic to keep me from driving myself into a frenzy wondering what our visit was going to cost us. Very reasonably priced, especially compared to facilities in the city.

My mom took her dogs here for several years. I inherited one of her sweet dogs after she passed. Now that the dog has been diagnosed with melanoma and its already spread they don't want to help the dog. I called and asked if they offer coming to the house to put her to sleep as a service. They said that some drs do that. I know they do since they put one of my mom's
dogs down at her house before. Robin said she would leave a message for the Doctors and call me back. Never called me back and emailed me referring me to other at home euthanasia places. Will never be going back! I'm a big believer in doing what you say you will do. Thank goodness I called an at home euthanasia service and didn't wait for them to get back to me. My dog doesn't deserve to suffer. There's a way to treat humans and animals and Village doesn't seem to know how. This is my first dog I have to put down. I didn't feel compassion, empathy, nothing. Robin doesn't seem like she's able to multitask since she had to ask me my name twice, the name of the cancer twice, and had to put me down for a package delivery. I understand offices are busy, but put yourself in my shoes. I love this dog and needed to know my options. I don't want or need an apology. UNACCEPTABLE way to treat me when I'm already upset because of my dog's diagnosis.

First time here with my Dane to get his annual blood work and physical exam, and I was very pleased with the overall experience. In my experience so far, staff are all very friendly and willing to answer any questions I have. Very good communication and follow through! Pricing is very transparent, that is one of the major reasons I chose to start coming here after doing some research after my usual clinic had closed down.

Transparency is so important to me and past experiences with other vets and their lack of it has led me to keep looking for a clinic I felt more comfortable with. I strongly dislike the "gate-keeping" culture of pricing of most other Veterinary clinics.

If you're considering this clinic, you can tell them what services you'd like to get and they are more than willing to send you an estimate via email of cost of services. There is also a flyer posted in exam rooms with pricing of common services offered. I have not seen this in other clinics aside from VetIQ which closed down.

They are advocates of not over vaccinating pets, so they are willing to do titers if you request it. This is uncommon and I so greatly appreciate it, because majority of other clinics don't even offer this to you and simply direct you to get vaccines every year, when it may not be necessary.

Dr. Mohus was the one over seeing care for my boy and I loved everything about her. Very *friendly and kind* and *open minded* and **thorough**. Likely the best veterinarian I've come across.

There are two last things I will mention . There are kitties roaming free in the clinic, so if you have very reactive pets, be mindful of this. I don't know how mine will react with kitties, and I coincidentally went there on a day they weren't around.

Second, they only option for deworming for hookworms that they seemingly offer is incredibly expensive. For the medication and retest of stool is $190 or somewhere in that ball park. They were trying to help me source another medication that was more affordable but I didnt want to keep delaying his treatment so ultimately went with the only option they had. Ultimately, they were still very helpful and tried to work with me!

I will continue to bring all my pups here for the foreseeable future ❤️
