A few nights ago we unfortunately had to bring our elderly bulldog into this clinic and knew she would not be coming home. The staff was the absolute best I’ve ever encountered. They were honest yet extremely compassionate. The vet (unfortunately cannot remember his name) was the kindest, most compassionate vet I’ve ever met. He told us the reality of the situation which ultimately made the very tough decision a bit easier. We cannot thank them enough for the tough job they do. Rip Bailey Girl.

Violet Crown removed our senior dog’s gall bladder. Dr. Kennedy is skilled, a good communicator and truly cares about her ‘patients’. The responsiveness of the surgical coordinator(s) and the front desk, in particular Ali and Noe, soothed all our concerns. They never seemed to get impatient with our questions. I can truly recommend Violet Crown.

I’m not someone who writes reviews but have been incredibly happy with the experience my partner and I and our dog have experienced here so far and look forward to continuing treatment here.

Our dog about 2 weeks ago was confirmed to have a bone lesion and suspected cancer in his front arm — confirmed at another specialist clinic. Two doctors there told us our dog was not a good candidate for amputation surgery due to the risk of clotting he seemingly developed per CT scans.

Shortly after this visit, he had GI issues and was seen at an urgent clinic, where the doctor there recommended we get a second opinion with Dr. Kennedy who she gave the utmost praise for. What seemed like luck occurred the next day and the week after that, when we were able to snag a last minute appointment. Dr. Kennedy, with fantastic professionalism and calming confidence suggested our pet was actually eligible for amputation under her standards and experience. This initial consultation with her offered us the reassurance that our dog had a fighting chance and the ability to spend the rest of his time here with us pain free (however long that may be). Every CSR, coordinator, tech we interacted with, and of course Dr. Kennedy, were incredibly sweet, thorough, accommodating, and thoughtful towards us and our situation.

Our dog had a swift and seamless amputation done two days ago and has been great so far on his road to recovery. Cost of care has also been more reasonable when compared to the initial clinic we went to and well worth it to drive the extra 20 minutes out.

I cannot recommend VCVS enough! We are forever grateful.

They did an amazing job taking care of my anemic puppy after a poor experience at another urgent care in the area. They were kind, sent photos to keep me updated, and made sure she was healthy enough to go home. So grateful for their amazing team.
Every emergency clinic is expensive but this one is definitely worth every penny.

Had to take in a stray cat we had been feeding that showed up with an injured leg. The staff were great and got our Pogo back and treated asap. They were even able to neuter him the same day and we were home by early afternoon. Cant thank the staff and recommended them enough. One of the staff even drew on the bag with our take home meds, and the whole family can't get over how amazingly adorable it is. Great touch! 🖤

I brought my kitty in after an unfortunate encounter with a bouquet of lilies and they were on top of it !! they did everything they could to make sure my little man was comfortable for the duration of his three day stay. they updated me multiple times a day and also sent photos ! i could tell he was so loved and cared for here - i'm so glad i brought him ! they educated me on everything they were doing, the danger of lilies with cats, as well as the number for animal poison control to get them involved in the case. he’s a happy healthy boy thanks to yall !

I highly recommend Violet Crown Veterinary to everyone. My furbaby Sammy needed emergency care at 1am and they were there for Sammy and comforting and knowledgeable for me. They took wonderful care of my kitty and called me daily and even sent photos of how he was doing. I am so thankful they were there for us!

The oncology team was absolutely wonderful! Checked in on my little lady though out her treatment and it was successful! Cannot more highly recommend! Sacajawea also absolutely loves their office and rolls around all over on the rug! Ha!!
