A great stay at the W Philadelphia. We used a Nightly Upgrade Award and we were upgraded to the Mega Suite. The suite was large with 1.5 bathrooms, 2 balconies, dining area, butler pantry, and 2 sitting areas. There are Bluetooth speakers so you can play music throughout the room. This would be an excellent room to host a party. Being on the 46th floor, it was very quiet and no street noise. I had read the reviews about rooms being dark but it wasn’t an issue in this room given the floor to ceiling windows in a corner suite.||Check in was good. Front desk staff are super friendly. They offer a local beer during check in. It can get a little lined up at check-in but the staff moved it along efficiently (and even handed out water to people in line).||We checked out the rooftop pool. We were told it was heated to 95 degrees but it was still a little too chilly for me to get in (in March!). I can see how it would be a fun place in the summer.||It is a W, so the lobby bar and lounge gets lively and loud in the evening. Food was good at Dolce.||Overall, a great stay and I would return.

Had a great stay at W Philadelphia. The hotel has a unique and stylish theme that adds to the experience. The staff was accommodating, and my room was clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a fantastic job refreshing the room between nights, which was much appreciated.

One of the highlights was the amazing city view from my room, making for a great atmosphere. The hotel also has a spa, which is a nice bonus for those looking to relax. The location is another plus—situated in a good area with restaurants and bars within walking distance, making it convenient for dining and exploring the city.

Overall, it was a solid stay with a mix of comfort, good service, and a great location. Would definitely consider staying here again!

I celebrated my 31st birthday here with a staycation and it did not disappoint. The hotel and rooms are absolutely gorgeous! The best part is the view and waking up to a beautiful sunrise! Splurge on a Spectacular room - you won’t regret it. The service was top-notch from the front desk to room service! Also take advance of the Away Spa - you won’t regret that either! My only critique is that the pool is not kept warm enough to enjoy in colder months.

The aesthetics of the W Philadelphia Hotel are certainly on point. I can see the dim lighting throughout the hotel not being to everyone's liking, but I think it helps give the hotel a more "tranquil" and even "sexy" feel.

The 7th floor of the hotel certain feels likes an urban oasis and gives off that posh NYC-vibe with the 24/7 fitness center, secret gardens and upscale spa lounge.

I don't have too much to complain about the rooms, but the bathroom set-up with the sink outside is certainly a tad awkward.

My biggest complaint is regarding the staff. Most were just okay, and didn't really feel like they were that excited to be working there. Which is fine for most places, but for $400+ night, the guest experience should be somewhat better than that of a Days Inn. To be fair, the only staff member that was just plain rude was the host at Dulce's in the morning. I won't go into what happened, but his customer service skills just plain suck.

The place isn't very clean. There were grease stains on the furniture. I woke up with allergies. Sink was cracked. Soap bottles in the shower didn't work.
Outdoor pool was not heated as advertised - maybe 70 degrees. There is no warm entry way. Towels are out in the cold. There were people decorating the lounge area, so it wasn't conducive to enjoying.

It's trying to be upscale, but missing important details.

Service from all staff was excellent!!
City view was outstanding!

For the price, other options are better.

What an amazing place to stay at! Absolutely beautiful breathtaking views with amazing staff and rooms. Took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and wow were we not disappointed. Rooms were clean, staff was amazing and helpful, valet was quick and easy, Tony! Tony is an absolute amazing gentleman who works the front. Extremely helpful and very kind to us.
We will absolutely be coming back, and would highly recommend to others! You will not be disappointed.

The worst experience of my life. I was looking for a hotel with the best view of Philadelphia, so I chose this one and booked a corner room two weeks before my arrival. Upon arrival, I found out that my room wasn’t ready—it needed cleaning, and I had to wait. The sliding glass door to the bathroom didn’t work and couldn’t be closed. Cracks in the sink, a bent floor lamp in the room, and the absence of bathrobes didn’t ruin my mood or my wife’s because the most important thing—the great city view—was there.

In the morning, before check-out, at 10:26 AM, I requested my car to be brought to the entrance through the hotel app. After taking some pictures of the room and the minibar as proof, I checked out via the app and left the room. I waited until 12:26 PM for my car to be delivered from the parking lot to the hotel entrance, monitoring my request’s status in the app and asking the valets and front desk managers about the delay—all in vain. No one even apologized.

That evening, I noticed an additional charge of $403.63 on my card, on top of my room payment, even though I didn’t take anything from the minibar (I have photos). Apart from breakfast ($60 was included in the room rate, and my order was about ~$72), I didn’t order anything. Disgusting emotions and a ruined impression.
