I have been utilizing the services, talents and expertise of Wags and their trainers since my golden boy was 11 weeks old. I had read all of the books and watched all of the videos, but real-life application of all of that information proved to be harder than I imagined with my new energetic puppy-induced mom-brain. All of Wags’ services have been a sanity-saver!

Personal In-Home 1:1 Training. Lisa knew what I needed before I could even articulate what I was struggling with. Not only did she simplify what to work on each week, it was all real-life application to help us in that moment and ease the several transitions we would both experience as my puppy grew. Lisa’s 1:1 training and general support were invaluable - validating what I was doing right, my experience as a new dog-mom and helped me through it all with her in-depth dog-knowledge. You can tell that dog training is not only her passion, but her second-nature, as she has a level of comfort and confidence teaching any and everything real-life pup-stuff. It’s not just about training your dog to do something you ask, but understanding them and their behavior. I’m so glad I had her to help me and my pup in a personalized way.

Puppy Socials. Puppy Socials were much needed for both of our sanities and what I learned in the process was invaluable. Not only did my pup need to be socialized (and burn some energy), I learned so much about puppy body language, what’s appropriate play (and what’s not) and different play styles. Watching my pup interact with other puppies also gave me better insight into who he is, his personality and how he plays. My only ask would be for them to offer this for pups once they age-out to continue the Pup Parties!

Group Trainings. Even though I learned so much during our 1:1 Trainings and probably didn’t “need” Group Training, testing my pup’s knowledge in a distracting group environment challenged my pup and gave me more confidence in him and what he really understands. Kirsten did a great job providing instruction and adapted to what the group needed - whether that was more personalized instruction or something more challenging. We just finished their Recall Class, which I appreciated as it’s done in a park - in the real-world!

Train N Play. My pup ABSOLUTELY LOVES Train N Play. It is the most excited he gets all week. I like their open play structure and knowing they are reinforcing everything we are working on and more, while I get a little reprieve. I trust them completely and am confident they are invested in each pup and really know each one well enough to ensure everyone is safe and has a good time. My pup is also exhausted after!

I recommend Wags to everyone - whether you think you need help training or not. Any of these services will undoubtedly help you and your dog live your best life together.

My dog Calcifer has been coming to Wags n Wisdom Dog Training since he was 16 weeks, and it has been the best thing i could do for him. I can't recommend enough the services here.
I've done puppy social hour (can't recommend enough) to let him safely meet other dogs while learning dog body language (both for the humans and dogs). Also participated in AKC puppy, puppy adventure day, private training, as well as currently in Train n Play and Trieball. Calcifer has gained confidence, friends and learning new tricks all the time.
I think it speaks for itself that I have utilized multiple services and keep coming back for more. We both love learning and the team are great teachers.

Lisa was lovely! Space was clean. Attended a puppy socialization class and Lisa was great. Separated large from small to ease into it. Then blended the sizes and my lil fluff ball had a blast! Best part, the pup who was scared at the start (not mine) ended up happy and playful halfway through the session. There was a puppy break midway through. She answered questions and gave general tips of how to take care of pup needs. Great experience.

Great place and fantastic trainers! I've had two puppies trained and socialized through Wags n Wisdom and I've found all trainers to be very compassionate, patient, knowledgeable, and kind. My dogs and I learned so much during social hour and training lessons and I highly recommend them! Great people and very reasonable prices.

A friend recommended wags n wisdom to us and we started bringing our 12 week old Pomsky there several months ago. We've attended Puppy Play twice a week and gone through their puppy kindergarten class. We also use their train n' play doggy daycare several times a month when we know we have a lot of errands to do and our Pup would be too long in her crate. They've been amazing, our pup is amazing because of all they've taught her and us. She's learned so many wonderful things and has had successful puppy play, classes and daycare days. We haven't had a single bad experience with the three gals who run wags n wisdom, or anyone attending any of the sessions with us. Wags n wisdom helps us all learn how to support our pets through dog interactions, and when and how to intervene for the best outcome when everybody's getting rowdy :). I'm so glad they're in my neighborhood. They're part of our dogs family and we'll always go!
