Es una playa paradiasíaca, el mar es turquesa y hay mucha vegetación cerca. No es excesivamente concurrida y se puede nadar en el mar. Disfrutamos la playa. Se celebró una hermosa y sencilla ceremonia de matrimonio de un.sobrino nuestro, que tuvo una organización impecable y puntual, la comida estuvo excelente, las cabañas de hospedaje son agradables, están equipadas adecuadamente y son cómodas. El personal del Waimanalo Beach Cottage nos atendió de maravilla. El precio está acorde con el servicio.

Positive - great location in quiet residential area with gorgeous beach at your back door. We booked last minute and management was VERY pleasant, responsive and accommodating. Negative - we have been vacationing on the HI islands for 40 years so I feel like we know what to expect for our money. We realize we are paying a premium for staying in paradise. That said, we found cottage number 3 to be pretty disappointing. The cottage was not clean - ceiling fans were caked with dirt, doors were all dirty with handprints, holes in blankets, bed that made noise anytime you make a tiny move, patio door didn't open, refrigerator doors on backwards, the list goes on. The AC worked well and the private parking was nice. All in all, for the price.....we will pass on this accommodation on our next visit.

Perfect location if you want to stay in quiet place with easy beach access. Cottages are bit dated, but were very clean and farily equiped. Easy access to local restaurants, and nice market only few minutas away (by car). Honolulu 20-30 min by car through fantastic mountains. Beware of the Portuguese man o' war in the water. Lots of natural attractions in the 20-30 min drive distance

The cottages were very cozy. Very clean. The two owners, a husband and wife couple, were easily accessible if anything went wrong (which it didn't). I was allowed to bring my dog for the week and the pet fee was only $100 for the entire stay. I stayed two nights in a 2 bd, 1 bath cottage w/full kitchen and a window A/C unit. Then, I moved in to a studio cottage for five nights. Both were very clean. The beach access, which takes you to one of the most beautiful beaches you'll find on Oahu, is only about 50 meters from the entrance to the cottages. There is a quiet time from 2200-0800, which is nice if your looking for quiet and relaxation. I would stay here again, for sure. I am going to recommend it as an alternative to the high-rise hotels in Waikiki to my friends and family who visit, especially if they've already been to Oahu, and have already done the Waikiki stay thing.

We had a wonderful quiet stay at the Cottage 11. This was a great view of the beach and ocean. The cottage is located in a residential area but local cafe and restaurant within walking distance. The location was 1/2 hour drive for many interesting trails and general sightseeing.|An issue of concern was resolved immediately to our satisfaction, the remaining stay was wonderful and relaxing.

Unbelievably nice animal lovers. Willing to help in any way! Tommy is THE BEST. Give GrayGray, Keanu, and Precious a pat for us! Cool rooms and RIGHT by the beach! Kitchenette and private deck make all the difference! Beautiful and not crowded (shhhh!).

Waimanalo Beach Cottages were really nice. We had Cottage 11 -- it was a 2 bedroom with a huge deck with great views of the ocean. We also had Cottages 5 and 8 for the rest of the family. Everyone said they enjoyed their cottages. They were really close to a nice beach - some days the waves were a bit rough, but others very nice for body surfing and bobbing. The facility had quite a few beach chairs that could be used, along with some boogey-boards, surf boards, and other beach toys. Carolyn and Tom were great to work with. Highly recommended place to get away from the crowds of Waikiki and Honolulu.
