These photos of my cat Leah, were on our way to the vet. Lol. It wasn't funny at the time, She was in a panic. I almost turned around and went home, I'm so glad I didn't. The drive home was much more calm and relaxing. Walnut Creek Animal Hospital was so helpful, to not only my cat but her litter of five kittens. I was much more at ease after leaving there about the symptoms they were having. Thank you Dr. MacKenzie Deviney, as well as your hands on and knowledgeable staff. We will definitely be seeing you guys again in the future.

Exceptional care for my sweet Shadow!

When my kitty Shadow suddenly threw up seven times, I was in full panic mode — but Walnut Creek Animal Hospital & Pet Resort got us in right away. From the moment we walked in, it was clear Shadow was in loving hands. She had recently been spayed there, and instead of being afraid, she pranced in like a celebrity — clearly remembering how well she'd been treated before.

Dr. Mackenzie Deviney came in and it was instant mutual adoration: Shadow rubbed, head-butted, and kissed her like an old friend. After x-rays showed a possible constriction, Dr. Deviney recommended a same-day barium test to follow Shadow’s digestion from start to finish (yes, from intake to…outtake). The team kept me updated throughout, and when Andy picked her up, we were relieved to hear her intestines were back to normal size and the constriction had resolved.

They even gave her anti-nausea meds to help with the vomiting. Shadow came home calm, bandaged with a dainty pink wrap on her little shaved leg, and promptly curled up on the bed like nothing had happened.

She was never anxious, never scared — and for this furmom, that means everything. The care, compassion, and love from the entire team were truly above and beyond. Thank you to Dr. Deviney and the amazing staff — Shadow and I are forever grateful. 🐾💕

We can not put into words what these ladies did for our family. Mia, our 12 year old bull mastiff was ready to move on. The compassion, gentleness, and love they showed her and us during this difficult time meant everything. We have a lot of animals and this place is top notch. Their prices are more than fair and the staff is so kind and professional. We love Dr. Deviney! She is the kindest, most considerate doctor when making decisions for animals! We will never go anywhere else for our cats and dogs. We lost our bulldog Tank and he got the best care up until he passed! Tank loved going there and never got scared because he was handled with so much love!

I cannot speak highly enough of Walnut Creek. Dr. Deviney is amazing. The staff is so kind, helpful and understanding. I recently had to put my childhood cat Hamlet down and they were so considerate to us and made the heartbreaking process as easy as it could be. We take our pup Shrimp here as well. I called there Friday because I was worried sick; I made an appointment for Shrimp not knowing it would be raining that day. She is very scared of thunderstorms. Not only did they reassure me, but they gave her anti-anxiety meds for her appointment and the upcoming storms. We absolutely love Walnut Creek. They are good people and will do right by you. Thank you for always taking such great care of our fuzzy babies. We truly appreciate you!

Second year using them. They've been very helpful getting my inherited dog everything he needs. Staff is friendly and professional. Entire place is very clean and that's an accomplishment for a veterinary office.

We had an emergency with our kitty last month, and from the moment I called they were so comforting and took such great care of her. Dr. Deviney was very good to keep us updated along the way, and was always happy to answer our questions.
