Our dog has stayed here many times while we were out of town. Dan has always made me feel at ease when dropping off our dog, I know that he is well cared for.

Just finished the class with our 6 month old Rottweiler. It was very enjoyable, and impressive how well all of the dogs in class responded to Dan. It is very relaxed in that Dan doesn't put people on the spot or make you feel bad when your dog doesn't listen on the first try with something new. Definitely recommend Dan's facility and classes to anyone looking for training or boarding!

A couple weeks back I went out to meet Dan and his Tollers. All I can say is what an amazing experience! Dan is an awesome guy who loves his dogs, and he knows them all so well. He has a beautiful pack. His group of Tollers are a complete blend of every Toller trait that you hear about and love. I am on a list to get a pup in the future from Dan and after meeting him and his pack, I will stay there until I get a Toller from him. I will not look anywhere else. I really look forward to the Toller my family ends up getting from Dan.

Oh and we did also tour the boarding facility and the training facility as well since we plan on having obedience training with Dan as well. His facilities are amazing, clean, modern, and very welcoming.

I was so thoroughly impressed with every second of the over an hour long visit I had at Water's Edge! Dan answered every question, never made me feel stupid for asking questions.

I left with a huge smile on my face and covered in Toller fur from interacting with Dan's pack.

Dan thank you so much for inviting me to come out and meet you and your pack, they are an awesome and beautiful group. I look forward to working with you in the future.

Great facility.
We brought our puppy here for an 8 week basic dog training class. By the end we’ve learned a number of new techniques and Hank knows a number of new commands.

My experience, along with at least 3 others in my puppy class with Dan Rode was not very pleasant. He has some good training tips but some of his advice & practices myself and others didn't agree with or he didn't know how to handle some situations. The biggest issue is Dan is very rude. He ridiculed myself and a few others in my class several times so everyone in the class and entire training room could hear. One gal i know for sure didn't come back due to this. Instead of confronting Dan publicly, I called him a few days after class to let him know i didn't appreciate his rude comments in front of the entire class. I asked if he has something to say to do it privately. He returned my call leaving a msg apologizing & sent a check refunding me in the amount of 2 classes. I returned his call stating i wanted to finish the last class w my pup so he'd receive his puppy certificate. He text me essentially that we weren't welcome because of my confronting him on his poor behavior. I text back stating he was doing a disservice to my pup and myself as i was going to exchg numbers w the other members for future play sessions & my pup wouldn't receive his certificate. I asked if he would still be sending us his certificate and if he would provide my info to the other members in the case they wanted to contact me for pup play dates. Dan never responded. I would not recommend Dan for any of his classes. However, the obedience trainer Donna (i believe is her name) seems to be wonderful. I suggest you find another facility for puppy classes.

The maintenance here is superb. They are so respectful and treat the tenants like family me and my fiance just respect them so much

We boarded our 3 huskies here for four nights. Dogs greeted us happy as could be at pick up. Will definitely be boarding them here again!
